Just to frame the discussion about "development," let's remember that Rozier and Smart are almost exactly the same age - Smart's only eleven days older.
Rozier is way more raw tho.
Raw or just not as good? They're the same age and they've both been playing organized basketball full-time for the last several years. The only difference is that Smart has one more year in the pros (but it's not like Rozier was sitting around doing nothing then, he was playing under one of the most experienced college coaches in the game).
I appreciate why it might SEEM like Rozier has a lot more room to develop, but I'm just pointing out that there's not a whole lot separating the two, and none on the arguably biggest factor which is age. We're not comparing a 20-year old to a 23-year-old, we are comparing two guys who are 23.
