lost in our disastrous 3rd quarter last night was some truly biased officiating.

The Wiz dubious defense created 21 points off turnovers in that 3rd quarter last night. And most of those turnovers were blatant fouls that were not called. Like the one where IT was taking it down the baseline and Gortat knocked him a foot sideways (Zero free throws for IT by the end of the game). It was ridiculous. Watch the tape. The announcers didn't comment on a single one, as Greg Anthony was busy bloviating about the greatness of John Wall the while time - even before the comeback. It reminded me a lot of the Miami Heat "hack then dunk" comebacks with LeBron, at one point we had 8 or 9 more fouls than they did. We were getting zero calls inside until after the game was out of reach.

We responded horribly of course. But IMO the league had an agenda to extend the series after the Cleveland and (likely) Golden State sweeps.

We will get a better whistle at home, and this series will go 7 games. Of course we will need to show up to take advantage of it.

So yeah, I believe in the team. The league? Not so much.
Well, yeah, noone here was complaining when Isaiah Thomas was getting every call, and we were winning games. Suck it up and play.

The league doesn't have an agenda. It has a #1 seed in the East that likes getting complacent a little bit too much for their own good.

Keys going forward:

1. Some players beside IT need to start hitting some open shots as they have been there in Games 3 and 4 and our other players can't knock them down;
2. Stop with the stupid turnovers as our passing has been horrific; and
3. Start going back door as the Wizards are just defending the three point line.

We take care of those 3 things and we advance to the Conference Finals.  If not, we are toast.
And stop shooting ONLY 3s!
Guy is wide open for a layup and pass the ball to Smart for a 3...smh.

5. And play defense.

Not any more.  I wish I could change my vote to Wizards in 7.

I agree they should "suck it up and play."

But saying the league doesn't have an agenda is laughably foolish, there are billions of dollars at stake here. One of my friends in Manhattan knows a former league official who knows David Stern - and the league definitely has agendas. The main agenda is to bring TV money into the league at any cost, the cost often being the integrity of the game.

They are corrupt, and it is a shame.

Stop trying to dribble through double teams and move the ball. They cannot keep up when that ball is moving.

Horford should be initiating the offense every other possession. Run the offense through Horford. If you're open for a 3, there's a reason for it...stop falling for it. Drive and kick again or take a midrange, higher percentage shot. Make the defense work harder because they don't like playing defense.

Come on, that's too simple and gives the impression that nothing is wrong with this.  He said "Bring TV money into the league at any cost".  Good businessmen don't destroy their product for the sake of more money.

I have always disliked David Stern and I think he was a terrible commissioner.  He was lucky because he benefitted from being commish during the Bird/Magic/Jordan era.

I don't know what this means. It's one of those terribly blanket statements which we would pay attention to because it was said by someone who knows someone who knows someone who is in the know.

Either way, destroying one's product for the sake of money is somewhat of an oxymoron. Damaged product usually doesn't bring in more money, it's the other way around.

Whoever wins Game 5 wins the series. Wiz win it..it will be in 6 games...C's win it...it will be in 7.

I lean to Boston winning game 5. They cannot play that horrible 3 games in a row can they? Esp. at home?

I believe, mostly because we play 2 of the next 3 potential games at home where we are very good and where the Wizards are not very good.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Well, all four games were horrible. Two just happened to go our way because the Wizards folded and IT4 went off for 53 points in an OT win. The other two...rout fest. Home court atmosphere may help us, but who knows for how long.

Same common problems happening- allowing big runs, turnovers, lack of D and intensity.

"Bringing in money" is the agenda not the integrity of the game and not calling the games in a constant fashion. Games are called wildly different even from quarter to quarter- see finals 2010 for reference.

It looks like the Wizards have our number. They've figured a formula on how to deal with us on both ends of the floor.

Its time for the Celtics to react to their counter moves, and I'm not sure the Celtics have the players.

We'll see.
