I'm only able to use League Pass because I'm from Australia but do Gorman/Tommy/Scal still call games after the first round? The local feeds (if they have them) are never available on League Pass after the first round which is really frustrating.

I would have loved to hear Gorman calling the game last night.

Nope they weren't on CSN last night.   Must be a 2nd round thing, all the first round games were.

Locals lose broadcast rights after the first round. It's all national broadcast the rest of the way.

I notice Mike watching from a court-side seat during the broadcast.

They were fine.  I had Spanish audio feed.  ;D

Anyone else with Comcast in Boston area have this issue?
Yes

A reminder that "national broadcast" generally means NY--where the networks are. And NY is not Boston friendly in any sport.

Greg Anthony was noticeably disappointed each time we made big shots.

Never once did he give us credit for what was several inspired comebacks.  Kept repeating how tired the Wiz must be, how great a player Beal and Wall are, etc etc.

Isn't the color commentator suppose to get excited every now and again?  I could barely hear him over the home crowd down the stretch.

Anthony is a good breakdown analyst, but what a terrible in-game choice to call a playoff game.

Wow someone must have scrambled my signal because when I listened to Greg Anthony, I could have sworn he was fair and balanced, and gave heaps of praise to numerous Celtics, including Olynyk, Brown and Rozier.

They were uninformed and often clueless, but not particularly biased. That's the way it goes with the national broadcast anyway.

I agree they were bad but I disagree they were biased.

I thought Eagle was great on play by play.  Anthony brings almost nothing to the table, though (besides the occasional prostitute solicitation).

Wait, the first round is available on League Pass with local broadcasts?

Only if you are outside of the national broadcast viewing area, i.e.overseas

I don't think I've ever complained about commentators being biased, but Anthony was terrible and biased last night.

He was analyzing the game from the Wizards' perspective (Hubie Brown is also notorious for this, but at least he switches sides, and usually roots for the team who is losing).

All game long Anthony kept commenting on what the Wizards had to do to hold a lead, get in the paint, etc. He kept reminding us when the C's had a 3-pt lead that "even though it feels like a huge lead, it's just one possession." LOL. It was like a player reassuring his teammates that they could still win.

And when Wall or a Wiz player did something good, he seemed to expect it, and gave detailed reasons why they can make plays like that. When the C's made a good play he acted more surprised, like he'd never seen Bradley make a ridiculous steal before or whatever.

As a writer this was pretty obvious to me, he was narrating from the Wiz viewpoint, I thought he did a really poor job. I hope I don't have to hear him again.

Yeah, TNT was pretty decent over all. Only thing that stood out was the foul on Crowder when Beal went down hard. They thought it was a flagrant because Crowders armpit hit Beal in the head even though it was all ball.

Anthony even game credit to AB for grabbing Walls hand on that steal at the end with out the refs seeing it. LOL

The foul was on Porter, not Beal, FYI.  Also, I disagree with your assessment on Anthony.  I thought he did a very poor job last night, as I said elsewhere.  I normally like him on NBA Gametime, but I thought he was just not calling what happened in front of him half the time.

Yep, it was Porter, had him in my mind, not sure why I wrote Beal.

I'm not sure how you can disagree with my assessment of Anthony's comment of AB's steal, he said it was good.

Now for the group in a whole, nothing really jumped at me besides the Crowder foul. They were better than the ABC crew the other day. Now this you can agree or disagree with. :)

I meant that in saying TNT was decent overall and citing semi-positive about Anthony in particular, I disagree with your assessment, or at least what I assumed your assessment to be (generally positive aside from the non-flagrant call that we've discussed.)
