In the season, Smart is averaging a slash of 11/5/4 in around 31 minutes a game.
Jaylen Brown is averaging 6/3/1 in around 16 minutes a game.
But boy, have these two really stepped up in the last 10 games!
Brown is averaging 10/5/1 in 25 MPG and Smart 14/4/4 in 32 MPG in the last 10 games.
They've really stepped up/improved, and are starting to hit their shots. I doubt they will really regress a ton because most of the shots they are making are open looks, and it seems like Smart is starting to look deadly when he posts up against others.
Basically, I think we have keepers in these two. Fighters on the court, great defense, great hustle, and guys with high BBIQ's (Brown is still a rookie so cut him some slack at times), and honestly, they define what it means to be a Celtic IMO. Smart has that KG fire in him and Brown is starting to ramp it up.
I don't want to hear "Lets trade Smart and/or Brown and etc. for Jimmy Butler".
