I just feel like watching Crowder and Butler they are similar players only Butler maximizes stats because he is the #1 scoring option on the Bulls.

We have a butler lite on a cost controlled contract already. Butler is not a dynamic scorer which if we're not getting a true dominant big we should be aiming for if we are to surrender major assets.

They don't need Butler tonite. They need a rebounder. Bulls getting too many 2nd shots.
This team going nowhere without better rebounding.

Who would you rather give up brk 17 for butler or Drummond?

To me Drummond is the guy who could be a presence down low against a gimpy Kevin Love in the ECF and GSW in a finals match up.

Let's the offense run through Horford in the high post and Drummond doing the dirty work down low and dominating the boards.

We would have a fierce low post game with Drummond and Horford

I'm all on board for trading the Nets 17, but not for Drummond.
Drummond was the 9th overall pick. No way he is worth the #1 overall. Not a chance..
Very good player with flaws but an inflated deal.

Noel is and should be the target. Much cheaper even if he hits Free angency

  • Boston Celtics= Championships, nothing less.
Danny is going to wait and try to sign a free agent before trading for Butler unless the price is a bargain.

We'd rather keep Jaylen or the 17' Brooklyn pick and use cap space to sign Hayward vs giving up assets for a guy who will be eventually available as Chicago crumbles.

Drummond would be one of the worst possible players for the Celtics to trade for. A terrible fit, he clogs the paint, doesn't stretch the floor, can't defend multiple positions, he's a center out of the 1980's.

Davis or Cousins or keep the picks. OR find a young center that actually fits the style the C's play, for a reasonable cost.

How is he not a dynamic scorer? He can create his own shot, get to the hole, and has a great step back game. Crowder has nothing on Jimmy offensively, absolutely nothing. Let's be real here. 25ppg is a dynamic scorer.

Pretty much spot on. TP.

Are we talking about the same player here? Drummond would be a fantastic fit with the C's.

Butler is a vastly overrated clown with an underbite.  He excels at drawing fouls and defends well when he feels like it.  Cool.  He has also been the common denominator in a Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. locker room for several years and shifting personnel, too.

Dude rubbed off on me in a bad way last night.

He acted like he was "entitled" to that call after the game, and it was a no-brainer call.

I mean besides him, even a lot of the Bulls thought it was over lol.

This. TP. I don't want to trade for Butler, but reality is reality. He is two levels ahead of Crowder offensively. You don't score 20+ points three consecutive seasons easily.
