And more IT hero ball! I LOVE IT!  >:(
You can't have it both ways. Crowder sucked tonight. Smart's offense dried up. G money is an iso player also. What else can IT do there?

Work the pick and roll with smart?
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

  • Let's Go Celtics!
Celtics are the better team with Bradley.

We definitely missed his rebounding tonight.

SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle

Celtics need that SG.
Celtics need that rebounder and rim protector in a C.

Get to work, Danny.

That's a pity, but to be fair, Toronto played better at crunch time.

I hope ppl keep their cool, and wait a bit before starting the "bench X" threads.

Looks like we may need rebounding and someone over 5'9" that can score at will in the 4th.  Maybe I'm reaching, though...

IT hero ball;

Crowder mentally taking himself out of the game;

Terrible rotation and defensive assignment decisions by Brad;

That's what lost us this game. Getting outrebounded by 16, yet Brad has the audacity to go small. And what happens? We get blocked several times in a row and give up several offensive rebounds.

It's as much Danny's fault as Brad's fault for not giving him competent bigs to work with, but Brad has an unhealthy obsession with going small that has killed us more this year than it has helped us.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

How much PnR did they run for Smart in the 4th quarter?

J-val won them this game.

23 rebounds in 27 minutes including a ridiculous number on the offensive glass.

Derozan made the shots but J-val changed both ends.

two take aways from this game...

Danny go get me a BIG.

Boston fans have totally ruined Crowder's mind... he may be done.

We say this every game and yet nothing is done. Actually we have said this for multiple years and we have got 1 solid big Al Horford. Ainge has his head up his 4ss to be honest

you could feel the butts tighten up as this 4th quarter continued.   They rely on Thomas to take over in the 4th quarter now... so when the shots don't fall, a sense of panic comes

But ya know he got 50 one night ::)
He's been awesome.  But it was inevitable that at some point someone was going to shut him down in the 4th and that basically happened tonight.  The team fell apart watching THomas try to be the legend we've all convinced ourselves he is.  And maybe he is?... it's just 1 game.

Yeah, people only think IT is good because of his 52 point game. Not because of his consistent great play night in and night not
I'm bitter.

That last raptor run does not happen with a Bradley on the floor defensively

IT absolutely can't go to the hoop and upfake. It is a guaranteed block. If he is going to the hoop, he needs to go full speed.

The crappy outside shots, well, I am not sure what to say.

Worst lost of the season...easy.

Very disappointing play down the stretch. This should have been a win.

I still think we're the better team.

Marcus played Demar perfectly early in the game.

Why Brad, why?

It's not Brad they are forcing switches, but most of you people don't understand that
Presumably Brad and the players would have understood that and done something about it
