Agreed. And while I was p---ed that Celtics fans were cheering Hayward, Crowder has to get over it. If he gets rattled by even the slightest bit of criticism, he should just run for president like that other guy, he's not long for Boston.

Yeah, if you're not mentally tough enough to deal with something as trivial as that, then you don't need to be in a Boston uniform.
Just make sure you don't cheer him if he hits some big shots for us in the playoffs. That wouldn't be right of you if you did.

You realize you are blaming this on Jae when clearly we lost this because we couldn't bottle up Derozan and Lowry with any of our lineups?

Very disappointing play down the stretch. This should have been a win.

I still think we're the better team.

We may be a better overall team, but it seems the difference is DeRozan, and it's large enough for them to win in a series.

Too bad we don't have a 6'4" bulldozing elite defensive wing to put on him. Oh wait...

Even if Smart was a covering him they were putting whoever was covering Derozan into the PNR and causing a switch. They found the mismatches and ran the PNR to get the switch

Well, Smart should've never came off him in the first place to let Derozan get going. Totally uncalled for on Brad's part that ultimately played a major part in us losing this game.

But in any case then you just don't switch. It's simple. Smart and Bradley are two of the better defenders at getting around screens in the league. You make them score in traffic around you before you give up nearly a foot height difference for one of the better iso shooters in the league.

I saw Smart switch during the game. He couldn't get around every pick.

Derozan was "bottled up" when Smart was on him. Literally nobody else could cover him, including Jae.

Jae was a big reason we lost. He gave up tons of points to his offensive guy, along with making terrible decisions on the other end, too.

He of course wasn't the only reason we lost, but he certainly was a big part of it and hasn't been the same since his dumb Twitter outburst that was uncalled for.

I don't think people are blaming Jae for the loss, but it's fair to call him out if he's not mentally checked in. He's sulking right now and has been since the Utah game. He's a professional basketball player. You get cheered, you get booed. Thems the breaks, kid.

Crowder is done in Boston.

Thanks fans. Better to trade him now, or get him a psychologist.

Is there a statistical resource that can tell you what/how many points were scored on each player by a specific player?

I don't have to wait for the playoffs. I'll be cheering him tomorrow night.

That literally makes no sense whatsoever.

I can't criticize a guy for a bad game (or several bad games in a row) and cheer him on for a good game? That's called homerism. No player is above criticism for bad games, especially in the context of Jae and his Twitter outburst. Smart is obviously my favorite player, but I criticize him too when he jacks up stupid threes, makes bad decisions, etc.

Yet you never see him play without heart like Jae has been. Same with Bradley. Hell, I criticize IT a lot for his lackluster D and questionable offense at times, but he's always playing with heart.

It's clear Jae hasn't been giving it his all since the Utah game.

This was a tough loss, considering we were ahead most of the game. Sorry but we were killed on the boards...earth to Danny we need a center, a full sized center to get the paint under control at key times of the game.

We missed Bradley, we needed his 16 points a game, especially when IT is mostly contained. (Not to mention we have no size anywhere on this team, especially in the backcourt)

And finally Crowder...he's really lost his way. I don't believe it has anything to do with the Hayward thing. Crowder is just not enough, we need more out of a starting small forward. If his 3 doesn't go down, he has no way of scoring or effecting a game.

A disappointing loss in my book. The Raptors now believe they can coast on us, and then just blow us away when they feel like it.

Good news is that we almost beat them without Avery.  Also, Smart had another really good game.

I think we're better than the Raptors.   Don't worry about the loss.  Just one game.

You didn't just criticize him. You said he shouldn't be wearing a Celtic uniform. You clearly hate the guy. You are on him all the time.

Crowder made two huge effort plays in the fourth. His heart is in the game.

Well add another thing I disagree with you about lol I don't know how many times Lowry and DeRozan has to kill the C's in the clutch for anyone to not think they have their number. Not to mention that Lithuanian that always dominates the paint.

If you look on the 1st/2nd page, I said I'd like to see them put Smart on DeRozan, even if it meant starting Jaylen on Powell.  Totally agree.
