Seems like Hayward could play the 2. I think he's an upgrade over Bradley.

Upgrade over Kelly ..........because Bradley is our best rebounder , we'd be hurt n

Going to a Celtics game, posing as a Celtic fan, and then cheering for an opposing player who is entering free agency is in poor taste.  It stinks of the kind of fair weatherism that permeates sports in the internet age.  I hate it.

That said,  Jae Crowder should have probably stepped away from the screen and read a good book or watched a movie or lost himself in a video game, instead of angrily tweeting out all his feelings.

Maybe he's taking his cues from the soon to be president of the country?

First a Lowell appearance on the thread, now a PEOTUS entry, what next we going to start using WANGS??? Anyone familiar with Lowell will appreciate the Wang reference.

You'll have to explain that one to me.

What a slow day.

Danny should have at least arranged that so one of our teams plays on every game night. If you are going to be the GM that runs two franchises (Boston and Brooklyn) at least arrange the schedule so that one of them play on game night.

If one of our teams played tonight this thread would not be on page 17.

I didn't even mind KG's thread.  People should be able to talk abut whatever they want not dictate it imo.  Especialy on the internet so much can be misunderstood and who cares really.

Yeah some people need a filter.  Unforunately it's not always the ones you think who are mature enough to talk about anything anyways.

I liked that Jae fired back too.  He's got a heart. That's good.

This whining by Jae wouldn't last two seconds on the Patriots. If it did he'd be on the Browns after that

Yeah, Bill would have cut him before he pressed "send"

People are wrong about the pats too.  Belichick trades Collins and has the fans in an uproar and has a guy like Lagarrette Blount leading the team in rushing and the defense playing better than ever.

The celtics are just going to do the same.  It's  not going to be like people think it is.  We are going to overwhelm teams with our talent.

I've never seen an opposing player cheered at a Pats game (aside from the polite applause when someone is carted off), so I don't think the situation is remotely analogous.

The Fleet and Garden when I've been there can be great or it can be terrible.  Some of the fans are awful.  Red Sox fans are just as bad.  I think every year in basketball fans get in this mindset of if we aren't champions then tank and cheer for the next big thing.  A lot of that is media driven too.

It really depends though.  Because both fenway and the garden can be some of hte best places on earth.  But i'm always amazed at the amount of fairweatherness at particularly celtics games.

The time before last i went to see the celtics and b ulls and the guy in front of me was a michael jordan era bulls  fan waiving his jersey like a weenie.

A lot of the fans at the garden are more concerned with getting on the big screen than they are into watching the actual games sometimes.

It depends on when you go though.

Its' still about a million times a better sports city than anywhere else.  It depends on  who your friends are.

AT least these venues are still sold out here and people love going to the games.

Boston is a demanding sports city. Boston fans are smarter than most other places, and are not happy at all if players don't reach their potentials, don't play at 100% effort, or don't show total dedication. In Crowder's case, fans realize the team is close but needs an upgrade, and it won't be at ITs or Horford's position. Everyone else is fair game to come off the bench or be traded.

True, just some humor based on Bill's historically short leash.

Wang was a huge computer company back in the day, with it's headquarters in Lowell. Brought a ton of jobs to Lowell for a couple of decades before it closed down. Lowell is an interesting city in that way, dating back to the Boott Cotton Mills in the 1800's , it was a leading city in the industrial revolution but those mills and surrounding area became a ghost town once that industry died down. Same thing in a way with Wang. The city somehow always finds a way to reinvent itself though.

Anyone from Lowell has also enjoyed a Boott Mill sandwich at Arthurs!

I love Jae.
I love his fire, tenacity, and will to win.
I love that he called out "fans" who want something "better" then the a .600 team that was in full rebuild  just 3 years ago.

We are one superstar Jae.  Even if we trade your ass.   We'll trade back for you on the other side.  I don't even see Jae going anywhere right this second. I hope he steps up and Jaylen.

Jae can  be a really good player here with his muscle and hustle.  His lift seems off this year so far. Compared to Jaylen though he would look old.

He's been shooting it really well.
