What do people think about Bomani Jones calling Boston a racist city because of Hayward (and also Kevin Love)? How can he (and Israel Gutierrez) get away with this and not be challenged by people from here? Kirk Minihane tried calling his show but Jones quickly instructed to hang up the phone,"yo, bang on that" he says. I wish he WOULD call in a Boston sports talk show and have a discussion but he just spews garbage and is not held accountable. It doesn't surprise me as BSPN hates Boston.

This probably deserves its own thread. This is just despicable stuff. I know Israel personally and see him on a semi-regular basis - his insinuation that Larry Bird and Gordon Hayward have something in common and that is why Boston wants him is in very poor taste. I was never a humongous fan, but this just re-iterates that he has no idea what he is talking about.

Bomani didn't insinuate anything and owes a formal apology to the city of Boston as far as I'm concerned. The dude is lucky that everybody loves Papi (Lebatard's dad, not Ortiz) or he wouldn't be a national anything.
