Why not both? Why can't Crowder play a little more 4 and Hayward take some of Smart, Rozier, Green, and Bradley's minutes?

Great players learn to play together, especially versatile players like Crowder and Hayward. Crowder is strong enough to play the Draymond Green role in spurts. Hayward handles the ball well enough to be the primary ball-handler for a lot of the game.

They play the same position, but not the same way. Hayward takes away from Thomas, Smart, and Bradley more than Crowder.

I think Crowder has done a nice job of maximizing his talents. You just can't knock him for not playing better. He does about as good as he's able to.

Crowder at the four is a nice option with Brown at the three for parts of the game. Adding Heyward will over crowd the position.

Crowder is in no way shape or form a 4. Even small ball 4

He is 6'5 with a good but not great wingspan. Not a leaper

Then he has to deal with people sometimes cheering all star talent. It's one of the perks of being an all star

There are good fans but there are a lot of idiots out there.  The media is just as much to blame and can be terrible.  I always like listening to Tommy blow up.  He has to keep it in check of late which sucks.

Fans want a ring.  Crowder is an overachiever but maybe holding the team back occupying one of the most important position in the roster

Can he stop/slow down the likes of Lebron, Leonard , Paul while also giving them a tough time on the offensive end?

Crowder was brutal in th playoffs (ok injury) but what about this season? Inconsistent on the offensive end at best. He has to play better if he wants chants of "Crowder" instead. He should forget about Hayward because Brown is right on his rearview mirror

What next? Is he going to cry if we start giving more minutes to Jaylen Brown? Because that day is coming, and it should be coming much sooner than Crowder might like

  • Rondo doesn't believe in easy buckets...
Celtics fans cheering for the other team embarrasses me.

If your one of the fans who does this and gets mad at your player for calling it out don't ask why free agents don't want to come here.

Celts were not cheering for the jazz team... It was for Hayward

I think he has reason to be upset, Hayward isn't a Celtic and we are facing them that night. It's disrespectful to your own player and one our best player who bust his ass night in and night out

http://www.foxsports.com/nba/story/boston-celtics-kevin-durant-jae-crowder-reaction-072116

Pattern?

and no, I think FOX misreported this, if I remember correctly, the whole Jae being upset during that meeting was we hard sold our team to Durant and showed him tapes and strategies we used against Cavs and GSW and how we are the only team last season to beat both Cav and GSW and he still went to the Warriors. He was upset at Durant not our team

Well what about this? When the fans were chanting "Durant"

Jae was not upset.
