76ers fans on RealGm think they can put together a compelling package for Klay Thompson using Noel, Saric and the Lakers pick.  Lol

It is kind of funny because you have always said the people on realgm are idiots

They are.  That's why the dumb idea is funny.

This. The post was based on humor.

Noel is due  back in a couple weeks and this stuff is reported for a reason.  Philly may be feeling pressure to deal him.  Our interior D also has kind of sucked.  I question whether Noel is the guy but for cheap he is someone worth taking a shot on.  I just don't think that is happening.  Philly won't do it.

Ainge is a stickler for making good deals and not  overpaying.  We can always just sign him this offseason if he is teh guy we really want.  But we may also lose him.  I don't think he is worth that personally but in order to make a trade something will have to give.

I like Noel personally. I don't think he's Bill Russell reincarnated but he could do well here and be like Isaiah and be what we need. I'd rather him than overpay for Deandre in ways.

Rozier + memphis pick for Noel equals done deal.

I'd even possibly swap other players to maybe clear out some room.   Y ab and Zizic are not going to be overseas forever.  Plus we are drafting next year. I dont think this matters too much.  We can just cut guys.

I am now officially Antoine Walker on this board as well I just noticed. 4000 posts must have done it.

Congratulations!

I'm very happy sporting the good name of Bill Walton. I try to make my claims as stupendous and grandios as possible.

Barack Obama, Robert Plant, Bill Clinton, Antoine Walker, Tom brady, me. All leos too.  Astrology makes no sense but the more I listen to myself I think it does.

Boogie Cousins too for that matter.  LEO.  Wilt Chamberlain was as well.  Magic johnson etc..

Everyone in the universe knows he's walking when the contract is up.

Why would any team pay any more than 50 cents / dollar?

If Philly wants anything in return, they'll take Rozier and the pick.  What other deals are out there?

That, and Rozier is a perfect fit for a young Philly team.

Ha! It'd be easier to discount astrology if I didn't fit Scorpio like a glove.

Am I being weird to think that Memphis pick might be real valuable?

How about Rozier, Young, and Boston's 2018 1st rounder? Throw in some 2nd rounders, too. Why not.

Noel will be a RFA so he can't just walk.  The Sixers or whichever team owns his contract will be able to match any offers.  If the Sixers are getting lowball offers, there is no reason for them not to wait until the deadline to see if some team gets desperate and bumps up their offer.

How is Rozier a perfect fit for the Sixers?  How does he compliment Simmons and Embiid?  The 2017 draft is PG heavy so they'd just draft somebody younger and better than Rozier.

he appears to be a quite capable shooter when hes open. He defends point gaurds, has the length to switch onto 2s could presumably run pick and roll, and is just a solid young gaurd.

He fits them quite well. He also seems to be the type to fit next to just about any gaurd (assuming he reaches his potential).
