Lots of teams rightly have interest in Noel. 76ers will likely cash in on him before the deadline.  It still is probably too soon to do anything.

meh for a guy that has given a soft trade demand, isn't showing up at his team's games or facilities (but coming to the stadium for concerts) and is rehabbing in a different part of the country, the lack of rumors would seem to indicate it is a pretty cool trade market for Noel at the moment. Maybe that changes when he gets healthy, although 76ers fans are really really doubtful he will ever suit up for the 76ers again.
He probably will not suit up for them unless Okafor or Embiid go down with an injury.  Though I wouldn't be surprised to see one of those guys take a time off for "rest" or some nagging small injury just to give Noel some showcase minutes to prove he's healthy.  That wouldn't happen until Noel gets back from his surgery.

Smart is shooting more efficient, if he can average 14 a game this year, than Rozier is not catching up with that. Smart will be an all star if that happens.

So offer Rozier for Noel. Would even consider adding a 1st round pick. That's better than what Toronto is offering, which is pure poo poo.

You've finally came around to the light!!  :P Just kidding, but I agree with you. I'd give up Rozier and the Memphis pick for Noel easily, and I think that's a better offer than either of the proposed Toronto offers of Joseph or Ross and a very late first.
I hate the idea of trading Roz but I would for Noel. I just wonder if the Sixers do that trade.

My guess is they try to pry the Nets 2018 pick away from us. One big problem we have is we have a big need for a player like Noel. The Sixers have some leverage.

Maybe an offer of Roz and the Nets 2018 pick for Noel and the Sixers 2019 unprotected pick.

Is his trade value really that low? The way I see people posting on here makes me wonder if Rozier and a small piece would get it done.

76ers fans on RealGm think they can put together a compelling package for Klay Thompson using Noel, Saric and the Lakers pick.  Lol

Nobody really knows what his trade value is.  There was a rumor that Philly was trying to get Cory Joseph (a backup point guard) and a 1st rounder for Noel.  So maybe Rozier + a 1st rounder is a comparable package.

I'm not sure if you are joking or not with this response. It is kind of funny because you have always said the people on realgm are idiots, but have regularly referenced the fans at liberty ballers as being highly informed. I personally think, like with any forum, they have some stupid people that are loud, but overall they are pretty smart. Ironically they share a lot of the same views as you do and are very high on hinkine and what he has done, and either dislike or distrust the colangelo's (if not both).

Here is what I am referencing. Most of their fans are doubtful the Raptors would trade Norman Powell for Noel and think that Ross would probably be a fair return.

I'm trying to be realistic on this stuff and present reasonable information. Some fans suggesting the Warriors would trade Klay for Noel, Saric and  mid lottery pick is not really reasonable (especially when you couple in the fact that they can't afford Noel this summer).

Yeah, that's absurd both from a perspective of value and from a perspective of need. Noel would be a good get for them, but then they'd be absolutely screwed this summer with having to pay everyone and trying to retain him. No way they'd take him. As for Saric and the Lakers pick, what need would they have for those things right now?

Noel and Saric would both play big minutes for the Warriors and the Lakers pick could be very good, but yeah that isn't enough for Thompson, but it isn't totally outrageous either.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

The Warriors could use Noel but that would be so wrong to ship Klay out after getting Durrant. Not to mention they could get a better big for him. It is an interesting thought seeing that the Warriors badly need a guy like Noel.

Let Amir walk after the year.  Jerebko same thing. Sign Noel to his contract.

really Rozier + the memphis pick is a no brainer that way. There's always better and I'm always skeptical but I don't see how this is a bad trade at all.

Philly also should do it. Rozier can play plus they get a pick.  I think they wont just because we are in their division though.

No doubt Boston has interest in Noel.  We've known this for years.  I'm sure they still have interest.  But clearly we've never offered Philly enough or Noel would be a Celtic already.  I still think it makes the most sense for philly to wait closer to the deadline after they get a sense of Embiid's health and see what their major needs are.  MIght even make sense to wait until after Ben Simmons debut which is expected in January.

Toronto and Us want his services. WE are in their division. They on the other hand are trading him to golden state for klay. Suuuure.........

No deal is going to get done for Rozier and the memphis pick that's the whole thing.  No way philly trades him to us for that.

That's why my earlier offer really isn't that silly.  There is no way Philly is going to make a deal unless it's something like that.

Not saying I would do that but that's what it would take. I also think people overvalue the brooklyn picks.

I'm one of the few fans living in reality that's the problem.
