Hopefully, he's talking about Zeller, and hopefully, we never see Zeller on the court again. Zeller is up there with Pau, Mirotic, David Lee, and Scola among my most hated players in the league.

I too hope that he's talking about Zeller.

But, in typical Brad fashion, Jaylen will suddenly be the one who loses minutes. And Zeller will remain a starter once we're healthy again. I swear, Brad loves Zeller smh

I think he knows what he's going to get out of Zeller, and that's comforting. The problem is that what he gets out of Zeller is poopoo. Zeller just confuses me. He was really good two years ago, but he seems to have completely lost it. I hate him almost as viscerally as I did Lee last year. He's just an intolerable player.

I just hope we're healthy soon and never have to see him on the court again.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

Call out Ainge as well!

Only a matter of time before BS is back in Indiana..

I like the call out, terrible effort by a playoff team..

Does it really matter how long the contract is? Rivers was under contract as well, He Gone.

The problem is that JJ and Amir have been awful, too. Ultimately, we need to fill 96 PF/C minutes.

Horford: 32
Amir: 22 (generous, given how he looks)
Jae: 10
Olynyk: 22

Assuming perfect health, we need one of the undesirables (JJ, Mickey, Zeller) to fill 10 minutes. It's a rather unenviable position to be in.

Does this sound like a guy who will say "I'm moving on"?

Quote
As entertaining as it is to consider the Celtics in theoretical terms, none of that matters a whit to Brad Stevens, who enters his fourth season with a new contract extension signed in June that essentially guarantees he'll be here for the long haul. That, incidentally, was never really a question in his mind. "I'll coach here until they don't want me to coach here anymore," Stevens reiterated to me just before the start of the season during a post-practice conversation.

http://www.sbnation.com/2016/10/30/13460358/boston-celtics-preview-expectations-brad-stevens-al-horford

please stop spreading this bullEdited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. nonsense that he's moving on to Indiana again. he's not. he's here for the long run, and anyone who thinks otherwise, especially after Brad's extension and especially after reading that quote, is delusional in my book.

I guess, I'd just try to keep their minutes as low as possible. Give Kelly and Horford a few extra minutes, if you have to.

If Jordan Mickey is smart he'll watch a lot of tape of Perk in a hurry. He's nowhere near as imposing but knocking some guys around a bit will probably buy some minutes and hopefully become contagious. Haven't seen enough of him to say if that's in his personality or not, though. He just seems like a guy that could grab a role right now.

I think a lot of this will take care of itself once Crowder and Horford get back, though. Even Olynyk is a bit physical and had stretches of excellence on D, especially helping, last year.

Ouch..

Obviously the team has an attitude problem. That much is clear. We're not going to out-talent teams, and we have to play hard to win. That's the only way.

I was a little confused with the "finesse" stuff, though. What's he meaning with that, and is he primarily judging our bigs?

Tp Potter great work as usual. In regards to the Finesse comment he's just trying to be polite while still calling the team soft.

 The message was conveyed.

lol, all good. Steez would actually be solid for us, i think. would play Turner's role from last year. although, we do have a ton of guards, and right now, we need more defense. our offense is still elite. our defense needs lots of work.

"Undesirables" lol TP for that.

Would you say that they're the Celtics version of a basket of deplorables?  ;)

Outside of the Chicago game in Boston, Amir has been pretty terrible, too. He just simply looks like an old man out there at times. I'm really hoping for an upgrade via trade or Kelly stepping in the starting lineup.
