Pierce is 100% right. OKC was too good/competitive for Durant to leave and still have respect. And it's not like he left for a team with nobody on it so he could be "the man" like Shaq and LA, it's actually the exact opposite.
Draymond's argument about how nobody reacts when big executives change jobs/companies is completely laughable. Really? Especially companies who are in competition with each other (ala the NBA)? People get angry even in small industries/businesses.
Also, I think it's pretty clear Pierce is throwing just as much shade towards Ray here as he is toward Durant:
I could have left Boston years ago but I stuck it out. And I just feel like when you're that close as a competitor, you don't go join a team that just pushed you out (of the playoffs).
