It's amazing how completely ridiculous these rumors are it's like all these reporters just create this stuff.  It's constant bs day after day.  Is it Boston who has these rumors created about them more than other teams or is Danny doing it to himself?

I don't believe the Jimmy Butler rumor at all.  The bulls got rid of Rose, Gasol and Noah to rebuild around him.  I just think no way he is available anymore.

I think Mannix was talking out of his butt.  Love and Embiid are the same things, just more rumors possibly.  More possible than Butler.

Just saving luxury tax dollars.  They're right up at the tax line, and signing Felton would have put them over.  Now they should be about $400k under the line.  If they stick at 14 roster spots for now, they can add player 15 later in the season and avoid the tax.

If they believed a trade with the Celtics was imminent, this is probably not a move they would have made. (Probably, because many Blake trade concepts would result in them taking on less salary this season).

It is pretty funny how we get worked up with so many unsubstantiated rumors but most here are die hards. We're already talking and thinking celts stuff do it's pretty natural to get caught up. Stuff could be true and it could be completely false but people insulting others for it is just bizarre.

Couldn't the trade be about creating a roster spot which would be beneficial to a trade? It seems like it was either done with a trade in mind or as the last move to finalize their roster.

I would rather have Butler than Griffin.
I would rather have Butler than Westbrook. (too expensive, doesn't fit)
I would want Butler more than DMC (DMC's behavior is questionable)



Today's news is satisfying. Butler is back on the table according to Chris Mannix. I don't think the Bulls would be that stupid to put Rondo, Wade, and Butler all together. No floor spacing, two ball dominant players. Don't see it. Get Butler for Jae, Smart, Boston 2017.
