The more I think about it...the more Okafor grows on me. He's not as nearly as established as Butler, but still offers a major increase in size.

Philly may ask less of us in a trade than Chicago would for Butler...and let's face it...this team is still missing a few major pieces before we can contend with CLE in the East.

Golden State or no Golden State...we cannot afford to wait till next year's Free Agency to make more additions

So we can take advantage of Horford's prime years, and get us far enough into the playoffs to attract big-name FAs in 2017.

DA: Colangelo. Have a seat.
Co: Danny, what pathetic offer are you brewing up this time?
DA: My respect, Jonas Jerebko, and a second round pick for Okafor.
Co: *gets up walks towards the door*
DA: Rozier, Jonas Jerebko and a second round pick.
Co: *hurls his pen at Danny Ainge, taking out his eye.*
DA: *points at the camera at the corner of the wall.* I will release the video on YouTube if you do not accept my first offer.
Co: *frightened and panicking, Colangelo signs the deal for DA's respect, Jerebko and a second round pick*
DA: I'll throw in Phil Pressey for being such a fair negotiator, Colangelo.

I'm basically not willing to offer anything Colangelo would be willing to take.

Great words from a great man

We have too many guards and no real Power Forward unless You play Horford at PF, but if we have Okafor we are set at the big positions. And we have too many guards.

It's pretty obvious they have too many guards, and are going to have to deal one or two.

Most of these offers are an absolute joke.  Is anyone going to actually offer a piece that don't really want to lose?

Only in exchange for a piece I really want to have.

Either Smart or Rozier. Our own 2018 first. A 2nd next year. James Young. RJ Hunter. Those things are on the table.

Or you can just continue with your glut of bigs and I'll use my cap room to scoop up whoever I want.

If Smart is on the table, then Colangelo should seriously consider. He could really help what that team needs (grit, leadership, not ball-dominant, and still has a lot of potential offensively). I am just not sure Danny is offering up Smart.

While my own opinion of Smart isn't that high, I agree that he could have value out there.  Avery also has value, as does Crowder and Brown.

But all this crap about Rozier and marginal nba players is ridiculous.  Those guys have about as much value as lint.

Russell from LA for Okafor and Laker pick back would be my play if I'm 76ers.

Lakers flip their returned pick, Ingram and Randle to OKC for Westbrook.

I'd be willing to trade Rozier, Hunter/Young, Bradley, Bentil, and maybe a late first for him. He would be a very nice building block and has 23 and 10 potential imo. Plus it opens up a lot of minutes for Jaylen,Smart, and Hunter/Young at the 2.
Warning: I am a Marucs Smart homer

Smart and the Clippers pick for Okafor.
