The picks he sets, he completly eviscerates guards on screens. He can switch on defense, and body up big men in the paint . Has the ability to stretch the floor on offense, and is an elite athlete for his size.

I knew the first time I saw Rondo in SL that he was gonna be a player, yab has Draymond Green written all over him.

He's not ready, sorry... I like the enthusiasm, I like him, but ready he is not.

It would be great if Guerschon is better than expected.   I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up our starting PF at some point.  I think the C's drafted him as more a roleplayer with upside but would be nice.

I'm not sure he is there yet.  His body is.

He is not ready to be Green but I think he may be ready for some Dleague and a few blow out minutes early..  He would do great practicing with the big boys, especially Hortford.

He was night and day from yesterday.. Outside shot was flat but he was active.. and he needs experience understanding defense...  but His body and motor were impressive today..

Doesn't he look awful on defense though?
"7ft PG. Rondo leaves and GUESS WHAT? We got a BIGGER point guard!"-Tommy on Olynyk

Let me put it this way, it serves our interest to stash him even more so with the knowledge that he's not ready.

Ready for D-League and blow out junk minutes? That's what you want him for now?

He's not even remotely close to ready. He looks lost out there 90% of the time.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Our PF's right now next to Horford  are KO, Yab, Jerebko and Bentil plus Mickey.  That situation is not locked down at all and I don't think the plan is to start Amir there forever.  Yab and Bentil were drafted to give us options outside of Sully that give us more energy, and versatility.

There's no guarantee the celtics are going to trade for some max player there either.  It's not about money and just signing guys if you are the celtics.  It's about basketball and if they can find someone out of those guys or are happier going with a mix they will.

I thought his comments after the game were interesting.  He said the game is much faster than Europe.  He's used to playing against stronger more skilled players, but it will take time to adjust to the speed.

It looks to me like he's thinking too much rather than just paying.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
If we have the roster spot, I would love to see Yab here with us. He needs to soak up as much experience and coaching as he can from Stevens and other veterans like Horford in order to maximize his talent. I am willing to wait on Zizic - who is already highly touted and is just honing his skills against decent talent in Europe, but Yab could go the wrong direction without proper structure.

Bass was also awful during his first stint here.

I agree he could be someone special, I think he will play good defense but I do think he needs to learn defense.

Must have been watching a different game because he hasn't stood out to me at all. Malcolm Miller is making more noise IMO

  • Eagerly Awaiting the Next Fantasy Draft
He's too raw, why not bring him over in a year or two. How much do you think he will really play if he's on the roster? Doesn't it make more sense to let him develop instead of parking him on the bench.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
