Let me put it this way, it serves our interest to stash him even more so with the knowledge that he's not ready.

Ready for D-League and blow out junk minutes? That's what you want him for now?

I agree. I see the tools, but imho he is still raw. Stashing him is the perfect way to develop him now.

One thing hurting Yab and Bentil is the complete and utter lack of ability of Rozier and Thorton to hit a rolling big or hold a big and let our big post their small who switches.  They can't even hit a pop in a timely manner.  Neither are point guards.  Thorton might as well not be out there if he can't run an offense.  He is a one v one guy, nothing more.

Right?  That was so frustrating to watch that ball hog, Rozier, elect to take tough jumper after tough jumper over a frontline player instead of feeding Bentil who was not only being guarded by Utah's point guards in such situations but also can score inside.  Ugh.  The only guard capable of actually running a team on our summer league roster is Jackson, imo.  I really hope that Rozier isn't made the primary ball handler off of the bench this year, as he's a horrible decision maker, and the same goes for Smart, imo.  Jackson is the only one among those three who could actually successfully spell Isaiah, imo.

How so?

His picks are good, but he has a long ways to go in other areas.   He is more mobile than one would think though.

Quote
Sully would make him look silly bad , because of his vast more NBA court experience.  Especically rebounding.

Sully even fat is more useful this year. He know how to guard on the block better.

Not to say Yaba could not be better , but Sully has rebounding instincts that are amazing for a fat guy. And Sully shoots decent 15-18 in.

Sully has pretty darn good pass to .....the long ones.

Sully acts like a 15 teen year old mentally .  Too many growing up issues .

I agree for the most part, except it matters what time of the year for Sully.   Sully from April to the end of the season could not take him.   Sully prior to April could easily.   For whatever reason he fell apart.   There was some weight gain during the season.

Sully carries his weight on his hips and gut.   Yabusele's chest sticks out more than his gut by a bit.   That to me shows he is probably stronger of the two.  Big difference brtween pecs and flab.

I think Mickey beats him out this year.

Our main rotation is going to be

Isaiah
Rozier
Bradley
Smart
Crowder
Brown
Amir
Mickey
Horford
KO

That's 10 guys.  Rj Hunter and Jerebko may also crack that.  Young, Yab, Bentil may make the 14 man roster but are going to spend time in the d-league I think.  Same with Nader and Jackson.

We still have too many players.  a Trade is going to have to be made or Jerebko and Amir may be cut or stashes everywhere if we want to even keep some of our young guys.

In France, the pace is very slow. He's not used at all to fast pace and transition.
He needs to adapt. He thinks too much right now and he hasn't had time to understand the Celtics team defense.
He needs time to adapt to this new type of BBall.
I like his hustle, he's not afraid and his body is nba ready.
