This is turning into a heartbreaking day.... ATL getting closer to resigning Horford

They're talking, there's nothing about them being close.

Beginning of the day it was us and Washington so now that they are talking doesn't bode well for us

It's all rumors and smokescreens, I wouldn't worry until we hear.
TP. people seem to be overreacting to vague reports.

So is the meeting currently going on, or has it not even started yet?

Also, I didn't hear a peep about the Spurs meeting other than it was short, which is standard for Pop apparently. Did anyone else?

David Aldridge: Kevin Durant's meeting with Celtics continues. Don't know if Tom B is still there.

Keep him hostage until he signs.

Wow, long meeting! Sounds like the opposite of his meeting with the Spurs.

Is it just me, or does Tom Brady have a real "Dexter" feel to him today? lol

Maybe that was the pitch - "Durant, you need to sign in Boston, or you're going to find yourself wrapped in Saran Wrap dead on a slab..."

Yo @KDTrey5 sorry I couldn't make the meeting today but Brady will tell u they don't call Boston the City of Champions for nothing 🏆🏆🏆

Tell him to talk to Horford instead. For all we know, the latter is using us for money right now.

Meeting just ended apparently. According to Aldridge..

Will be interesting to see if Horford's decision comes soon.

seems a bit gimmicky for a guy who's trying to make a pure basketball decision.  Also just a bit weird.  What is the message?  You can be like Tom if you come here?  You can hang out with Tom?  Tom likes Boston so you will too?

I'll eat this post if he chooses Boston.
He isn't trying to make a "pure basketball decision". He is making a career choice.

One problem with the C's is we have no players with gravitas, unlike every team we are competing with. Brady has that.
