Woj reporting Boston and Washington falling back on Horford... Sounds like we're in a losing fight fella's

David Aldridge says it's still down to Boston and Washington.

Boston's long understood it would take a second star--think Horford, Jimmy Butler--to lure KD. A Horford return to ATL would be crippling.

Al will be the most hated man in Boston if him not coming here is because we don't have that other piece. I already hate him.

I don't understand this all circus meeting with players and Brady.
To me a meeting with KD needs to have 2 persons :
- Danny Ainge : telling him which players he can get and what will be the future.
- Brad Stevens : telling him how he will win multiple titles with KD.
End of the story.

It's all about the presentation.  The funny thing is, no one else can do this because they'd just be copying.

I felt that we brought a few too many guys, but I think Brady was a great call because hes recieved more support from the fans here than maybe any guy in sports history (Im sure this is inaccurate but Im rolling with it). In the aftermath of deflategate the guys been pretty much worshipped.

Durant meeting/Horford signing?

Do you guys think Danny knew already and used it during the meeting?

And talk about timing: I'm told the Celtics meeting with Kevin Durant in the Hamptons is still going as we speak (tweet).

(Of course, others have said it's over)
