The Hawks preferring Horford to Milsap makes no sense to me.

Might just be personal. Horford has been with the organization his entire career.

I don't think hey really do prefer him though.

Would you rather Horford for four or five years, or Milsap at one year?

Given their ages? Maybe Milsap for one.

It's not what I want that matters though. Atlanta has made it very clear that they're willing to lose Horford.

I love reading the Wiz fans thoughts on their chances compared to ours ;D
Here are two examples:

Please I want this so bad. Mainly because Boston fans are insufferable and I want to see salt.

Well he pared it down to Wizards and Celtics... looking at the Celtics roster I don't get the big lovefest going on over it. They have good depth and youth, but Horford is 30 and seems a great fit next to Gortat and teamed with the Beal-Wall backcourt seems ideal as far as a ready made win now situation. Add in Morris and Porter, and the upside of Oubre, possibly Satoransky. Brooks has been a well regarded player friendly and successful head coach, upgraded from Wittman.

Generally, everyone thinks that Gortat will make the difference in Horford's decision as the latter wants to play PF instead of C ::)

Both the wizard quotes are right.  Reality check/

wiz are a good fit, that's correct. But so are the Celtics. Tipping point could be Stevens. and that bk pick is a massive trade piece or it could be a player that is great right away.

I think he's waiting to see if durant chooses Boston. wouldn't be surprised if he told durant he would sign if he signed.

The Wizards team has bigger names in their squad in Wall and Beal, but no way that they play better than us collectively. We won 4-0 against them last season ::)

They said the wiz were better set up to win now which they are. Hey we beat golden state and Cleveland too and that did Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. for us. ::)

No they havent David Aldridge just said the Hawks could move Milsap if they wanted to, probably thinking about it right now.

I dont get it though isnt Millsap the better player? Also they just got Dwight this doesnt really make sense

I doubt that's the case.  Durant has better options even with horford here.  He has a better option in okc right now. We just lost a key piece to any bench depth advantage we had in turner.  Celtics are set up to build from within not add two or three pieces.

I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

If they really prefer Horford how about just sign him up first and then worry about trading Milsap later instead of putting yourself into a position where you have to let Horford walk unless you can find a home for Milsap on short notice?

Durant never had intentions of leaving OKC this year... these meetings are with teams he will consider for next year given the structure of the team and their future.

Why , did Horford decide to sign with anyone other than Boston yet? I don't see any information stating such, so why are you asking people for apologies already?

If he would honestly go to the Wiz before us, then his BBIQ must not be that high. We showed last year that we're CLEARLY a better team than the Wiz. No argument there whatsoever.

As for Atlanta, it's the same deal. If he thinks a DH/AH pairing will work better than a Milsao one, then he doesn't know basketball. He can't play PF with DH as his center. No way.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.
