Here are two examples:

Please I want this so bad. Mainly because Boston fans are insufferable and I want to see salt.

Well he pared it down to Wizards and Celtics... looking at the Celtics roster I don't get the big lovefest going on over it. They have good depth and youth, but Horford is 30 and seems a great fit next to Gortat and teamed with the Beal-Wall backcourt seems ideal as far as a ready made win now situation. Add in Morris and Porter, and the upside of Oubre, possibly Satoransky. Brooks has been a well regarded player friendly and successful head coach, upgraded from Wittman.

Generally, everyone thinks that Gortat will make the difference in Horford's decision as the latter wants to play PF instead of C

As a DC resident, I love going to the games when the Celtics are in town.  We drown out their crowd.  It's great!  The Wizards fans get so demoralized!

Even if you could argue that Washington's roster is currently better than Boston's, we have better assets to trade for an additional star, a GM that has built a championship contender before, stable ownership, a great young coach, and trust between all of them. You don't get that in many franchises.

I am always shocked how few players in the league truly value those things in FA.

Who the hell is Satoransky? Lol

European guy that they drafted as #32 back in 2012. He averaged 10 ppg for FC Barcelona last season I would be surprised if Horford even knew him.

Yep, he's 24 years old, was drafted 4 years ago, and can barely average double digits in europe after a fairly long career there. I'm sure he's going to light the NBA on fire

I just don't understand why Horford would sign in Atlanta now.

Are they really gone trade Millsap to keep Horford? Millsap is better. Though he may not age as well.
