We hold the keys to the draft. Do you trust Ainge behind the wheel. I do. I think hes a great GM and I trust him to do whats right for the squad. Im not optimistic about any of the prospects available at 3, but my faith in Ainge is keeping me optimistic.

Yes, I think if nothing else happens, then we end up with Noel, who I'm a big fan of. And even if we end up with Okafor, I still think that's better than anything we'd get at three. I'm just hoping we get an extra sweetener in the deal - something like Sacramento's pick swap, the LA pick, or Saric's rights, even if it means we have to add a bit more to the deal.

I do, up until he does something really dumb. Everyone hits and misses, that won't bother me.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

I'm iffy, but in the end, there's a reason we have these nets picks and Isaiah for so little. It's Danny who got this for us, so I trust him.

That being said, if we take Brown I will be very disappointed.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

Yeah that is my feeling. Although I'd take it a step further and say if we end up with Brown and a bunch of euro-stashes I'll be very disappointed. If he takes Brown but then works magic to end up getting Bender at 7 in addition, I'll have to amend the disappointment to disbelief :)

I saw a mock that had us taking Brown, Luwawu and Zizic in the first round. If that happens I'll hang my head a little (even though I like Luwawu!).

I want splashy. Hopefully Trader Danny shows up and we can move #3 (Dunn presumably) for a star. If there is no sign of Trader Danny I want Toronto Blue Jays Danny to swing for the fences with Bender and then Maker, Davis, or even Skal.

NOPE.  He'll flub it up and we'll be left with a glut of draft and stash players that won't amount to anything.  We're stuck in Mediocrity for 3-4 more years

If he deals with Philly for Noel or Okafor--I hope he also gets pick #24---Then maybe he can package 16/23/24....to get something else or move up a bit for one of Skal/Sabonis/Poeltl
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Absolutely not.  It should make for a night full of laughs, though.

I trust him a lot more than I trust someone like you. Heck I'd trust Chris Wallace more than you

I am eagerly awaiting CoachBo's response to this.

I think everyone just needs to take a deep breath and chill. There are so many different threads discussing a millions of options the Cs have.

Danny will do whatever he can to get the best outcome for the Cs come draft night. He is the GM for a reason.

I trust him, and i'll be happy unless he does something very un-Ainge like and wastes all our picks and over pays for an average talent like Monroe!

The first pick will WOW the Celtic fans...

The next pick will have us screaming for his head!!

It'll go back and forth like that with all 8 picks.

That's how we roll ;)
