Your wrong, his shot is not good just look at his %. And he can finish, reason he's not is his low BBIQ.

Weak handles, Horrible passing ability, two turnovers to every assist in college last among all top 50 prospects. I was right fit the most part.

Shhh...these guys still think Brown is going to be a star.  Who cares that he cannot play or shoot a basketball as long as he is an athlete?

I'm on record now that we should not draft Brown at #3 overall. Here is what he does well. Very good in transition, Can get to the basket in half court finish and draw fouls. That's about it.

His jumpshot form is terrible, it's a horrifically slow release as well. If you have watched his games he is not a good defender at all. Below avg free throw shooter, poor 3 point shooter.

Handles are ok, gets very sloppy at high speeds makes poor decisions. I also do not seeing him being a gym rat, with his high intelligence and many interests off the court.

Stanley Johnson my binkie from last year is much, much better than Brown and he was drafted #8 overall. Winslow is also better and drafted #10 last year overall. So why in the world would you draft him #3?

You can even see in these highlights how sloppy his game is. Take a look.

Welcome to the club.

I was on the same record draft night. Should have drafted Dunn.

I posted this in another thread but it applies here as well.

The guy is hurt right now.   I doubt many of you armchair coaches and ex-players  have ever suffered a bone bruise or been around a guy with one.  They take a while to heal and they are painful.  I think it makes him way to early to predict his demise.

His shot does need a lot of work.   I like his aggressive nature and the way he drives but it was clear that the aggression was not there as much the last game he played.   This is to be expected the way bodies were flying.

CB at its worst.

Not even close...last summer's constant barrage on James Young was far worse. We must have gone 2 solid months with new postings showing up everyday.

So far what I have seen is he can shoot better than I thought but is a worse finisher that I thought. If he stays on his feet he can be a good defender, needs work on rebounding.

A James You g thread would be a welcome addition to CB considering we have way to many on our future Hero JB. What i think JB has proven he is ready for the NBA and is a CBS And most CB kinda of player.

If he could shoot he would be a star...So you want him to be good now at this moment. Have some patience, geez.

Should have drafted Maker and Dunn

Look dunn didnt listen to ainge

Danny didnt think Maker was number 3 worthy. Was prob ready to grab him at 16

I do agree with some that danny could have traded up to grab brown and moved up to 8-9 and reach for maker

What can you do when nobody wants to trade with you

I agree with this, Thon Maker at 10 was an absolute surprise, and I'm sure if he was available at 16, we would've taken him. Or at least I thought we would've taken him over Yabu.
