Stanley Johnson my binkie from last year is much, much better than Brown and he was drafted #8 overall. Winslow is also better and drafted #10 last year overall. So why in the world would you draft him #3?
That makes no sense whatsoever. Winslow and Johnson aren't in this draft. Please don't hunt for contrived arguments.

You pick a guy because you like him better than the other people drafted at that position. You don't skip a guy because Jordan was better at #3.

Or maybe we shouldn't draft anyone with any of our picks because Ginobili was better at 57.

I can't believe you guys can't see the light here.

Here is the point. This SF class absolutely stinks this year in relation to lasts years draft and even next year's draft.

Therefore Brown at #3 is an even worse decision, this draft had stars and point guard, shooting guard, Power Forward's, take a stud #3 not a suspect SF.

I am warming up on drafting Jaylen Brown. He looks a better slaher than Crowder already, very deadly in transition like Westbrook and he have a Lebron-esque strength that can push defenders on the basket. Not to mention, he is crafty under the rim with his inside scoring.

People comparing him to Green probably never consider Brown's work ethic and mental toughness. Something Uncle Jeff was lacking.

He seems like a pure athlete minus a lot of skills so Brown scares me.

If we had the number 1 pick, we would be analyzing the crap over Simmons' lack of shooting, lack of length, and Ingram's weight and lack of a good first step. All these guys have flaws. Magic Johnson could not shoot coming out of college.  Ditto Lebron.  We are talking about human beings, with human flaws.

I'm happy with Brown, Chriss, or Dunn.

Of course, just looking for the more perfect human basketball player.

Every Kid in this draft is going to need Work and plenty of it.
Nobody in this years Draft was an NBA 1st or 2nd team player last year..

I wouldn't be. #1 pick is the easiest this year. On offense Simmons can play point guard, SF, PF, and center. 12 rebounds a game and he's a physical freak.

Even though he can't shoot he's a stud.

Your first post honestly seems kinda wrong.

His work ethic seems to be tremendous. His shot, while bad is no where near the ugliness you describe it to be and one of the few strengths you list-- ability to finish-- is one of his biggest weaknesses

Your wrong, his shot is not good just look at his %. And he can finish, reason he's not is his low BBIQ.

Weak handles, Horrible passing ability, two turnovers to every assist in college last among all top 50 prospects. I was right fit the most part.
