I'm confused, I thought we already had a future first from Memphis that couldn't be conveyed until they moved  another pick to Denver (or someone).  can someone clarify what we own from Memphis and how it's impacted by this deal?

It's the Clipper's first
I'm bitter.

We take Davis but traded him??  Oh man I hope this doesn't bite us in the tail...  Is the Memphis 1st round 19 pick going to be awesome?
Mickey is better than him

Still would be good value at #31 for a guy potentially going in the lottery.

So now we have the Grizzlies 2019 1st and the LAC 1st they had. Are the Clips going to be bad again in less than three years?
The Nets will finish with the worst record and the Celtics will end up with the 4th pick.

apparently it's the clippers' 2019 pick, not memphis.

hard to project where they'll be then, probably still a playoff team.

would much rather have davis.

What was the trade??

31st & 35th pick to Memphis in return for a 2019 1st rounder(I believe that is via the Clippers)

Wow, both picks for one pick in 3 years?  That seems pretty crappy.

Doc killing it again.  He's an awful GM, but this has been a really good draft by him

Really aggravated at the night.  Can't take any more going to bed.  Just an all around disappointing night.

Just think this could have been the night

Noel
Covington
Yabusele
Zizic
Luwawu
Korkmaz/Labissiere/Murray
Davis

Lots of high end potential there and that is with Ainge taking Yabusele way too darn early.

Yep waste of a night

Guys, this is what happens when you have way too many picks.

You reach for draft and stash candidates and sell off quality second rounders for future picks that might never vest.

What a crap show this draft has been.

It'll probably be a pick in the early 20s, but could be late teens.  Not a bad return, although I would have loved Davis

have to hope they're barely a playoff team -- only way it conveys as a first of any real value

They only had Jordan, CJ Wilcox, and Johnson under contract in the 2018-19 season. Who knows what they'll look like then.

Do you guys realize we have limited roster space?  This forum is nuts tonight.

That is what happens when you swing and miss with whatever it was that you were trying to do with 8 freaking picks in one draft.  You get to the 2nd round, and everyone knows you need to unload them and you have lost a lot of leverage.
