Ooh, I love that trade.

Ditto. Any word on the protections on the pick?

1-14 in 2019, 1-14 in 2020, 2 2nds after that.
where are you guys getting these advance notices?
I am Danny Ainge. You are all mean.

The Celtics took no steps forward tonight and given what the Pacers have done and what the Knicks are primed to do just took 2 giant steps backwards.

it's really unbelievable.  you have eight picks in the draft and it's almost like they didn't even participate.

Givony of DX said that a lot of players who dropped had agents who insisted on avoiding competitive workouts interacting with other players.

We take Davis but traded him??  Oh man I hope this doesn't bite us in the tail...  Is the Memphis 1st round 19 pick going to be awesome?

Seriously?  ::)

Mike

Yeah, I don't know. I think next year we need two separate draft threads, one with and one without spoilers.
In the summer of 2017, I predicted this team would not win a championship for the next 10 years.

3 down, 7 to go.

Knicks adding an injury prone point guard is an improvement?

Really aggravated at the night.  Can't take any more going to bed.  Just an all around disappointing night.

Just think this could have been the night

Noel
Covington
Yabusele
Zizic
Luwawu
Korkmaz/Labissiere/Murray
Davis

Lots of high end potential there and that is with Ainge taking Yabusele way too darn early.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I'm confused, I thought we already had a future first from Memphis that couldn't be conveyed until they moved  another pick to Denver (or someone).  can someone clarify what we own from Memphis and how it's impacted by this deal?
