The "Rigged" comments are so nonsensical.   The NBA rewarded Philly for following through on the most epic tankjob in NBA history?  Some folks here thought they'd literally take away Philly's picks for blatantly tanking.  Now they are gonna give them the top pick?  Lol... c'mon.

Super fascinating team remains fascinating.

They are loaded with bigs now.  Okafor, Noel, Embiid (who looks like he's finally going to play), Ben Simmons and Dario Saric.   They need guards.   This is an excellent opportunity for a team like Boston to pounce.  Maybe they'll finally take Marcus Smart for Noel?  Maybe they'll take #3 for Okafor and take Hield?

Stay tuned.  Should be very interesting.

MOTOMBO WAS RIGHT ITS RIGGED

Heck of a coincidence now, huh?

Yeah the teams with the top odds going 1-2 clearly proves shenanigans  ::)
Math should give us a good sense of shenanigans. Does anyone know the odds on a team being (high up) in the lottery as many times as the Celtics and only moving down and now staying where they are?  Pretty low?

In one year we moved down as low as was possible.

I'm frustrated i'm glad we didn't get 6 but we needed a scorer from this draft and trading it and bunch of other assets for PG13 or DMC doesn't turn us into a contender.

I hope danny offers something up to the lakers or 76ers.

What a great season. 3rd best odds, 3rd pick, and 48 wins. Can't complain too much.

Simmons and Noel would be a fun combo. The quickness and athleticism of a lineup with them as their two big men could be frightening.

Saric and Simmons would be redundant like Noel, Okafor and Embiid are. It would be nice to see Philly add some guards. It's hard to get excited about that team because there are still so many holes in the lineup.

That said, I hope they keep Noel and Simmons. I think they could special together.

Worst flor stretching frontcourt in history? Lol

I think sixers will take ingram personally.

Freaking Lakers... When the era of free agents just up and going to LA ends, they get lucky in the draft. It's so ridiculous. That franchise is just handed players

Somehow i feel like this increases our chances of getting the top pick next year.

#3 allows us to trade the pick with a clean conscience, so there's that
Good point.
You thinking cousins?
We got little shot at somebody like that, the Lakers with the #2 pick are looking to do the same. We prob would have to settle for someone like Okafur.

We got other assets still top two holds way more value

I was not that high on Simmons or Ingram.  I think one could maybe slide but I doubt it.  I don't think it mattered too much 3-6.  We are either going to trade it or take a chance on a guy like Bender, Brown or Hield or even Murray.   Bender and Brown are the guys I like this draft anyways. Or trade the pick for a guy like Okafor.

ok now my hope is,

1. better position than 2007, 3rd pick still has value, but how much? What can we get in a trade?
2. What does it take to trade up to #1 or #2? Or rather, if the 76ers want the #3 pick, who can we get from their team? Okafor? Noel?
3. If we choose to take it, who does Danny covet?

so much to think about :(

Once we didn't land 5 or 6 I was happy.  When we didn't land 4 I started to think "maybe, just maybe" but 3 is a massive cherry on top of this season.
