Bring it on, Vlade. But -- discussing any package it would take to get Cousins is moot until the draft lottery.

Id easily trade the Brooklyn pick for him. No doubt in my mind. Id also consider adding Smart, but Id rather not.

Would likely cost Smart/AB, Brk 16, Dal 16 and KO . They likely also want an additional Brk pick .......
Well that's not worth it. Players are like stocks and Cousins stock is volitile right now with only 2 years left on his deal. The Kings HAVE to trade him because there is no way in hell he is resigning there.

If we end up with the 1st or 2nd pick you could make the case that it is not worth it for us to trade JUST that pick for Cousins because of his behavior and years on his deal, because he could bolt.

I want Cousins because IMO that would prob make us Durant's #1 choice by far, especially since we could sign Ibaka/ Durant the next year. But getting Cousins should only cost us a pick and if it is the first pick then maybe even
1st pick,16th pick

Cousins + 8th pick

Yea I don't really see the kings giving up the best center in the league, and the 8th pick just for a rookie who may never hit cousins level (with his mentality and all) and the 16th pick.

We would have to go all in picks wise this year and include young assets to get their attention. And they wouldn't be including the 8th pick.
Cousins is damaged goods. He may command a top 2 pick and a few other picks but not like you are saying. I personally would sign Whiteside and keep our picks.
Whiteside isn't half the player Cousins is and will cost more. I understand people's reluctance to give up a top 2 pick, if that is where it lands, however we are building a team to compete in the next few years not in half a decade plus. It will take at least one Brooklyn pick, more likely two, for us to get ANY star in this league. That is the price we must be willing to pay. Yes we can go through FA but there is no guarantee to that. Also trading for Cousins or another star would not be at the expense of picking someone else up in FA.

Only he wants to stay in Sacramento, so they aren't forced into anything now

Minnesota should look at packaging Lavine and their lotto pick for a cousins or jimmy butler. Throw in shabazz and or dieng. Sacramento would love to get the dunk contest winner. Lol the owner would totally be in love with a Lavine.

Cousins plays with Wiggins and towns. Rubio gives him the ball. Kg as a mentor. Cousins would hate Thibs tho. But Thibs and KG would take cousins to another level.

Just what Sixers need, another center. Doubt it.
Sixers actually make a lot of sense as a trade partner.  Okafor would obviously go to Sacto and Philly has a ton of assets, including pick swaps and Sacto's own pick in the future.  Philly could do something like Okafor, Lakers 1st, Sacto 1st, 2017 Philly (which obviously removes the picks swap from that draft).  Plus add in all sorts of other assets, without ever touching Philly's own 1st this year.  It would be hard to beat that sort of offer and that doesn't even include what might be Philly's best asset (its own 2016 1st).
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

It would also be hard to convince Cousins to re-sign with the 76ers. So nah I don't think any place where DMC would clearly walk would be the smartest trade partner for them.

His value is getting damaged more and more by the day. The organization needs to move on and they know it. Please remember:
1. Cousins does not have to re-sign with the Kings
2. Kings are not getting any FA's
3. RR is prob gone
4. Cousins has 2 years left and could bolt from whatever team he is traded to. Imagine giving up the next T-Mac/KD hybrid for a Cousins rental of 2 years......

Those are just some of the reasons why Cousins is not worth anymore than a top2 pick. Especially for the Kings who will be prob starting over again with a top pick in this draft, WCS, and a top pick in 2017 draft(if they trade Cousins)

We can land Cousins with a top 2 pick. And then we can sign Durant. That would be better bc we would be giving up zero players for Durant.

Then we could sign Ibaka/Westbrook in 2017

But Cousins, Noel and Embiid in same line up? Doesn't feel right to me. Plus I wonder how much could tolerate a guy like Cousins without the right coach.

Cousins and TE

Sign Durant. Sell him on our ability to win championships, plow through the East, and re-connecting him with Ibaka/Westbrook, an insane bench.

1st year

IT                            KEY BENCH PLAYERS:Smart, Crowder, Sully(all can start and have potential)
AB
Durant
KO
Cousins

He has 2 years left on his contract.  He might like playing there and they would get a lot better with him regardless of whatever other moves they made.

@2 min mark

Cousins laughs at the question about meeting for the exit interview to end the year ,  sounds like he wants to be gone , but just can't say it .

Then saying how he wants his next coach to be someone who demands accountability , structure *cough* Stevens* cough*

It does make some sense to pair him up with IT because they are still close off the floor ,  and have played together on the floor .

Send Jerebko, Smart, Amir , Brk 16, , brk pick 2018 protected

just have to convince Durant at that point

IT              / Rozier
AB             / Turner ?
Crowder       / Pick or FA?
Durant       / Mickey
Cousins     / KO

Definitely need some vet min who are chasing a championship to join up , maybe a Vince Carter type

Embiid is a work in progress.  Noel would start at center, Cousins at PF.  That is what Sacto was doing and why they drafted WCS (Noel is a lot better than Cauley-Stein).  I don't see it being any sort of issue unless Embiid is fully healthy and needs 30+ minutes a night (which I don't see happening and is a good problem for Philly to have).  Not hard to see a big man rotation comprising of mostly those 3.  Cousins gets 35 minutes, Noel gets 30, Embiid gets 20 with 11 minutes left over for others (like Landry, Covington, Saric, rookies, or a mystery FA or even just giving more time to Noel or Embiid).
