Scal's losing his credibility by trying to read anything positive into what's going on now.  Hawks stopped playing with about 5 to go because they knew they had the game.

Rozier quietly has been solid

The more time on the court, the more confidence he will get.

Taking the past 3 months into account (I'm not overreacting to just this game), which player looks to have more upside: Smart or Rozier?  Be honest.

Hard to find anything positive here for the Cs.

Amir was their best player.
I thought Rozier played well.
Turner had a moment.
Smart was great on defense but not much else.

If you take away the first 5 minutes of the game, it's a much closer game.  But still a loss.  I don't see how this team is going to win given the way they have played over the last 20 games of the season.

An accurate assessment.

Positives: Amir Johnson.

Negatives: Everything else.

I have to admit that this series is making me feel a bit better about building around the Pick rather than the unlikely scenario of trading for a star.

I got a feeling we will get the #2 pick this year

Too many injuries and problems all at once t over deal with in a tooth and nail playoff series.

It's about timing and luck.

Maybe Hawks beat the Cavs in payback

We were 28th in the league in 3 PT shooting... And tonight with our two best 3 PT shooters out we should have predicted this.... I'm really disappointed in Crowder though. He's giving us basically nothing. I knew Isaiah would have a tough time scoring if they collapse the paint... Sully looks terrible and never comes up with 50/50 balls. I like what I see from Rozier though... Jerebkonis serviceable but should in no way crack a rotation on a playoff team.

Smart is like his tenacity and aggressiveness. He continues to play  competitive. I guess we see Bradley's worth to this team as shooter.

They should be apologizing to the fans for such a crap effort in a playoff game.  They embarrassed the jersey tonight.

Without a doubt.

This is a clear call to blow this group up. Danny should have dumped Crowder at the deadline. Top of his value.

God you're so negative. Why should we blow it up?

If you seriously think this group will EVER win anything meaningful, I'll take the illegal stuff you're smoking.

Not going to happen. EVER. Worst shooting team in the league.

People can whine about the injuries and the officials all they want. Just makes them look silly. This club cannot score the basketball. That has to change, and Ainge has to change it now by moving a bunch of these bricklayers out.

Of course they won't win anything as is. You have to be retarded to think otherwise. But you're suggesting rebuilding. Again. Don't you think any upgrades are possible. Honestly I think you need to take a more positive outlook. Like, you do nothing but bash this team. Chill

Let me think it over.

I have.

No.

This team needs scorers now. Inexcusable to go into next season with this offensively inept mess.

[dang it]. You don't understand anything do you? What do upgrades mean? I guess I have to define that for you too. It's getting better players. Some could be scorers. As you said. Some could be rim protectors. Wings. Bigs. Scorers are definitely an option. I'm not saying this team as is. I'm saying this team with some upgrades.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

So, essentially disregarding the first six minutes, this has been a tied game. You think Brad is going to go big again in Boston on Friday??
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Smart. He's already an elite defender and is quite good in the PNR, he just doesn't get opportunities to run the offense often.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I'd still be tempted to trade it for Boogie.

I would happily move both of them in off-season deals.

As angry as people are about the result of this game, I think we all need to step back and realize that two very valuable players to this team aren't playing. Avery and Kelly make a huge difference for this team. On a team that isn't loaded with good three-point shooters, we are without two of our very best ones. Avery is arguably our best two-way player (the other one, Crowder, is also nursing an injury) and Kelly kills it in the plus minus. I hate to say it but them being out hurts this team a lot.
