Taking the past 3 months into account (I'm not overreacting to just this game), which player looks to have more upside: Smart or Rozier?  Be honest.

I've been pretty happy with Smart down the stretch. He can do things, he just needs to work on his game. However, Rozier has a lot of upside because of his athletic ability. It's tough but I'll go with my boy Rozier to stay consistent.

this team is sad in the playoffs... hawks will win in 5

Cbs is a great coach. He can take a bunch of mediocre players and a 5'10 all-star and win 48 regular season games. But the playoffs are all about talent.

Stevens doesn't come out of this smelling like a rose.

Yeah, the players take most of the blame but the coach has SOME responsibility when his team comes out TOTALLY UNPREPARED for playoff intensity.  And the last time Bradley missed a few games, Stevens put Smart in the starting line up.  It was a disaster.  WHY DID HE DO IT AGAIN?!?!

I mean, I think the first play the Celtics ran was a weave at the top of the key that got Crowder an open three.  WHY ARE WE RUNNING PLAYS TO GET CROWDER OPEN THREES?!?!

Thankfully, the defense as been better this game but Stevens has been letting this bad three point shooting team jack up threes all season long.  What did he think was going to happen in the playoffs?

Mike

Isaiah, Crowder, Sully were absolutely horrible. Can't have that from 3 of our starters.

Amir was incredible, Rozier looked good, and nobody else made an impact other than Turner for a brief stretch. Smart was great on D but couldn't buy a bucket. Just an ugly performance all around. Hope we play better at home

So, essentially disregarding the first six minutes, this has been a tied game. You think Brad is going to go big again in Boston on Friday??

Further...I was shocked he sat Jerebko as long as he did in the 2nd.  Our best lineup seemed to be with him and Amir down low.

As I predicted before game 1,  Sully would be out of the starting lineup by game 2 or 3.  Gotta start Amir at C and play small.

I have to admit that this series is making me feel a bit better about building around the Pick rather than the unlikely scenario of trading for a star.

I got a feeling we will get the #2 pick this year

I'd still be tempted to trade it for Boogie.

Me too.!

We need his dominate offense

I don't think Hunter is athletic enough to make it in the NBA.

Smart. He's already an elite defender and is quite good in the PNR, he just doesn't get opportunities to run the offense often.

This. We saw what happened when he ran the point to start the second half - three quick assists. If we do use the pick and don't make any real free agent acquisitions, it should be Smart starting at PG to develop him alongside our pick.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

To be fair, they're Atlanta Hawks playoff records.  That's like breaking a Cleveland Browns playoff record.

If he got calls itd be amazing.
I could very well see the Hawks... starting Taurean Prince at the 3, who is already better than Crowder, imo.

you vs. the guy she tells you not to worry about

and also I'm calling B.S. on this nonsense of blaming injuries.  They started the last 4 games like this...and have played basically .500 ball for 2 months.

Crowder should have been out of this game about 5 minutes ago. He's clearly playing hurt, why would you have him in a game that is already decided?

Well, I guess there'll be no big run to make it close. Sigh. Celtics really deserved this loss. Every player except Amir and Rozier should feel a deep shame. They're going to be playing for their honor Friday night, for their dignity. Three of the next four games will be in Boston. This series is not only still winnable, it's still possible we could win in 6. The Hawks haven't been beating us; we've been beating ourselves. That's gonna stop.
