Is Isaiah better than Kyrie?

Ever since they got drafted, the comparison between Isaiah and Kyrie have been quite close. Looking at traditional stats, Isaiah actually has the upper hand, by a considerably wide margin.

Straight up...I don't think so.

Factor in the money...definitely.

What hurts is that Thomas gets bullied from time to time.

Nope. Kyrie is 5 to 6 inches taller than IT with a similar skillset.

IT is gonna get shut down in the playoffs again--He's great, but he's a regular season player.

When you're the only scoring option, then defenses will focus on you. Will Kyrie suffer the same fate if he and Isaiah swapped places?

Basically. Score first point guards that get teammates involved, although IT is a tad better in that department. However, IT isn't better than Kyrie.

Right now he is. Irving is still young and could get it at some point, but now Isaiah is the better player, more efficient, stronger, and contributes to winning more.

I would certainly trade Isaiah Thomas for Kyrie if possible, if that's what you guys are suggesting. Kyrie and Smart would be a nightmare for the back court to guard.

Kyrie is only 'better' because he was the 1st pick and Isaiah was the 60th pick. Also, Kyrie is taller than IT and receives a lot more national attention. These facts don't literally make Kyrie better than IT, but that is the sad truth.

Taking injuries, contract, and attitude into consideration, I will take IT 10/10 times.
