Reminds of KVH.

He walks, runs and moves like him - knee-high socks included. Hartenstein though is stronger in the inside, bulkier and better defender.

I bet KVH would still have a better efficiency than this guy if he plays in the NBA.

2017 might be a strong draft but it doesn't have a Simmons or even Ingram in that draft

Tatum
Giles
Jackson

Are all better than Ben Simmons. Maybe 5 more prospects better than Ingram. Smith, Ball, Harenstein, Ntilikina, Fox. 2017 Draft is like the 2014 one as far as the hype. 2016 is really weak.

oh really , are they?

tell me how

Jackson has loose handles.  How many guys with loose handles actually develop good handles?   Yes he can rise and shoot over people. So can , Gerald Green.   His ceiling is Mcgrady which is no doubt a good thing.  But compare that to guy who could become the next lebron or lebron jr.

Giles is already off to a bad start.  Also needs to bulk up.

Tatum is considered a hog (and is no Jordan/Kobe).  How many players like this do well in today's nba?

Simmons is a 6'10 sf with advanced dribbling/passing skills.   Excellent athlete/manchild.  Think about it. How many guys like this come around

I like Simmons a lot, but he is neither the next LeBron nor a Small Forward.

The draft after next is always hyped more than the coming one. It's a rule.

He will play sf . he is a top rebounder for a sf

Sure he can play sg.  But then you take away his rebounding skills

Who knows if Ainge will be able to trade some of our assets for a star.  If he can't, it would be great if we could trade some of our picks or even some of our young guys for 2017 picks.  We have too many guys already and after the Brooklyn pick, we have two other first rounders plus five 2nd rounders.  Young, Mickey, Hunter, and Rozier already can't find any playing time.  Priority #1 is to get the star, but that's hard to do.  I say try to load up on picks in 2017.  That draft looks to be stacked.  Thon Maker is being considered a late first.  I don't get that at all.  The 2017 draft is loaded at the top and deep.  Most teams and GMs tend to think about the here and now rather than looking ahead.  Maybe Ainge can take advantage of that.

Dennis Smith Jr
The injury is sad but he is young and rehabbing at college, so we will see. If he's on the board I don't know how we pass on him.

Don't forget about Bam Bam either

imagine the BPA's are both Dunn and Smith, that would be quite a potent bench LOL

Are we talking about the same Ben Simmons? Because the one I've been watching is 6'10" and takes all his shots in the paint. He's pretty clearly a Power Forward both in college and the NBA.

Giles says hello

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fASlnqiguKo

Good looking prospect along with Jackson. Still no comparison to Simmons/Ingram level

What happened to this?

I want Simmons or Brown.

But not Ingram subject with a top 5 type pick (to move up)

Rather pick Jackson later on

nothing.  Ingram is not a smooth fit under CBS.  But the way he has progressed/elite scoring capability, you grab him at #2

I can't wait to bring up stuff from the past you said about Mickey if you want to play this game ;)
How is Ingram not a smooth fit under CBS?  If anything he's a better fit than Simmons because he's already a good 3pt shooter.

His name is Isaiah Hartenstein, looking to get drafted in 2017. even at a younger age, looks to be miles ahead of benders current abilities.

Impressive. He has a great frame for a 17 year old, and he can really use it. Great passer, and clearly he can block shots. He isn't that much more explosive than Bender, but he's definitely a lot stronger and maybe longer - more of a C than a PF. Doesn't have Bender's lateral quickness or potential on the perimeter on either end, and there's not much evidence here that his shot is legit.
