His name is Isaiah Hartenstein, looking to get drafted in 2017. even at a younger age, looks to be miles ahead of benders current abilities.

Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

The 2017 Draft looks like it's going to be amazing. Would love to be able to trade our own 1st and Dallas' pick this year for some lottery tickets next year.

indeed, this is a draft where draftexpress has thon maker going in the 25th pick. Amazing draft, DA really should go after more picks in 2017.

I found out about this kid a few months ago too and he looks incredible.  Let's hope that the Nets sign Rudy Gay in the offseason because I'd love to see this kid in Green!   ;D

Despite the nonbelievers, the Nets will be giving us another top 5 pick in 2017, so we'll be getting another highly touted prospect regardless.

Interesting prospect who seems to have a more above the rim presence than Bender. Seems more interested in defense than the average European prospect. Looks like an above average passer. Those moves in the lane remind me of a young David Lee but he obviously can be a more well rounded player. His 3 point shooting style looks very similar to Raef LaFrentz and from the stats he is apparently an erratic shooter at this point, but he's only 17. Interesting player. TP

I'm a bit worried they'll be able to buy their way out of the bottom five. I expect another top ten pick at least.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

I'm expecting a top 14 pick with plenty of potential to move up into the top 10. It's too early to declare it a possible top 5 pick. It's too early to declare any pick a potential top 5 selection, though, so that doesn't say much good about the Nets.

Draft: 8 first rounders in next 5 years.

Cap space: $24 mil.

so did the Lakers who are arguably a more attractive franchise for FAs.  didn't work out to well for them.  Besides, in NY, the Knick are the premier franchise with 2 better players already there in Melo and Porzingis not to mention 2 better 3 and 4th bananas in Afflalo and Robin Lopez.

I'm not worried about Brooklyn for years.

I would happily follow that plan. We're at 19 and 21 right now. Our best bet is if somebody drops that a current lottery team wants. Otherwise, we know the challenges of moving up in the lottery. I'm guessing those challenges apply, even if the potential lottery pick is unknown for the following year.

He looks like he's playing against 16-year-olds that go up to his shoulder. I'll reserve judgement until I see him matched against real basketball players.

2017 might be a strong draft but it doesn't have a Simmons or even Ingram in that draft

Kevin O'Connor disagrees with you

@kmattio The Tatum-Giles debates will be very, very fun. The comparisons won't be (even though I think I like both them more than Simmons).
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19
