Dallas only play one team (Minny) not either in the playoffs or in the hunt for the playoffs. C'mon 1-6. They do play Spurs in their last game, which should be a rest game for their starters.. but San Antone's bench seems to work so well, I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled it out

Last night was BAD for our Mavs pick, but I guess the silver lining is that the Mavs barely beat the Knicks at home?

Could have really made a move to solidify a grip on the 12th pick last night, but no.  OT win v. NY and 2-point loss to GS. Ouch.

Who would have thought that the most important game to our draft might turn out to be Dallas vs. Utah? Never would have guessed that one.

Why do you say that? I don't see that. The Brooklyn pick is more important to the C's future than anything right now.

Ya, I wouldn't call it 'bad'.  The favorites all won.  Just could have been really good had Utah won and/or Dallas lost a game they shouldn't have.

Whoo hoo the Houston Rockets look like they're about to take down the Bulls.  Nice for the Dallas standing, although since all three teams (Rockets/Bulls/Mavs) all have 37 wins, there is still a small bonus for us if the Bulls win.  It would be nice to get that win in their conference, though.

Rockets are obviously way more important.  Mavs could finish with a worse record than Chicago and still get a worse pick if they make the playoffs.  Bulls can start winning Saturday.

That's true, but I think the original statement highlights how fun (and stressful?) this season has been.  Having other teams' first rounders is awesome.  I can't recall the last time I've followed the outcomes of games so closely.

man, beasley hasn't been bad fo them at all. i have watched all of their games since they beat us and he keeps coming up big for them. heck, at times I think they selfishly go away from him at times when he gets on a run, he pretty much has to get it and go b/c harden doesn't like to let other people shine (IMO of course).

lol I realize this is the dallas thread but houston has to win to keep mavs out so I posted here.

Q, I blame you for this loss lol, why did you call it...

Bulls or Pacers vs. Cavs, who do you think has a better chance to pull out more wins against them?

It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I've watched a number of Rockets games lately and it sure seems like they know how to blow a healthy lead. They play with such a lack of urgency, which is ironic since they are a couple of minutes from being on the (outside of the playoffs) looking in. Way to go Houston.  >:(

Man, for supposed "contenders" coming into the year, Chicago and Houston are pretty bad.
