almost at 12th pick

We need to see Houston win a couple of games too.  Their next 5 are tough, although they close out the season nicely.

I can't believe Dallas lost! I really thought Portland was going to choke this one. Great game! We really need Dallas to lose at GSW and then at the worst split the next two @SAC and @DEN - let's doooo this!

I think DAL is actually at 16 now, making the playoffs in favor of the Jazz.

However the ESPN playoff predictor currently has Utah at 80% to make the playoffs and DAL at 40%.

http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/BPI-Playoff-Odds/espn-nba-basketball-power-index-playoff-odds

If I recall that model weights last 10 record fairly heavily, and DAL is 2-8 vs. UTA 5-5. So, grain of salt.

However, the model does also consider strength of schedule for remaining games, which apparently looks pretty favorable.

Never cared for ESPN's BPI. I like these better:

Okay, though in this case they all say basically the same thing.

For Dallas the playoff odds are 40%, 46% and 28%.

For UTA the playoff odds are 80%, 79% and 89%.

They all have DAL at 39-40 wins and UTA at 41 wins.

Can't believe Dallas was so competitive @GSW without Deron Williams and Dirk. I am thinking they finish between 500 and two games over... we need Utah, the Rockets and the Wizards (whose loss to Minny last night was NOT good for this pick) to do some serious winning....

Dallas tied for 12th pick after this GSW game.

It is a very real possibility that the Rondo trade might be the best trade Danny has ever made.

Nah nothing beats the KG trade, but I agree; it's darn close to one of the best trades that Danny has ever made!

Every team has good games. Look at the Sixers and the Nets, both teams also almost beat the Warriors. Does that mean they're a good team? No, it just means they had an "on" night.  I'm not concerned.

The Brooklyn trade has not materialized into anything yet.  We already have Crowder from the Rondo trade.

If the Mavericks pick is 10-13 and we get a starter out of it, it will be the best trade he ever made.  My prediction.

The Nets trade generated a trade exception. That exception was then used to acquire a 1st rd pick and Zeller from the Cavs. That 1st rd pick was dealt to the Suns for Isaiah.

So far we have had the following pieces to show for that Nets trade:
Thomas
Zeller
Young

With a top 5 pick this year and potentially another in 2017 and yet another 2018.

I was talking about the trade that got KG here from Minnesota back in 07 ;D!

Funny how both KG trades brought us great value. Kevin, thank you again for all you have done for our franchise  ;D

Did we get back more for KG in that Brooklyn trade, than we gave up for him in the Minnesota trade?
