Imagine if the Suns win today. :D

That game's going to be UGLY, but I might watch. I want us to clinch tonight!

This Nets team has been pretty consistently a bad team throughout the season. They were an epically bad road team. They had one of the worst benches in the league. And regardless of who was or was not healthy, this team was just really bad.

There's no excuses. There was very little relevant NBA talent on this team, it had horrible chemistry, and it wasn't coached very well. It was a poorly constructed overall team.

Terrible performance aside tonight, the Celtics will finish the season with almost 50 wins with the 4 or 5th seed AND a potential top 3 pick.

Good job to everyone who stuck out in the thread and I'll see you guys in the draft lottery!

When is the draft lottery?  :P

May 17th: get pumped.

And so if the Suns win, does this thread get locked and a 2016-17 Brooklyn Nets Season Watch thread open up?

I was planning to post it once the regular season ended for BKN.  But I suppose that works too. This offseason obviously will be of great importance for our 2017 swap (and 2018 pick) so why not start it earlier this time?

I'm going to just go ahead and assume that we just have the no. 6 pick so I don't kill myself on lottery night.

Looking through the thread, after their initial 0-8 start it's remarkable how consistently they hovered around .250 for most of the season.

60 losses yo!  And a tie for 3rd worst at the absolute minimum.  Cash em in Trader Danny!

maybe, but then again maybe we could just save everyone some time and repeat this one.  the nets should suck next year as well. ;D
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

I wonder. How many teams that were still playing  when the lottery was held, ever won the lottery? Could this be the first time if the C's are still playing come May 17th?

Closest i can come up with is the 76ers winning the lottery in 1986 via the Clippers while being in the second round of the playoffs.Their season ended May 11th, not sure of the lottery date that year.

Closest I can think of off the top of my head was the 03 Pistons. Made it to the conference finals and got the #2 overall pick that summer. Hope we don't draft another Darko over Melo, Bosh, and Wade.
