YES!   Now I don't have to get stressed about the Suns game, and can once again play the Draft Lottery Simulator.

I just keep playing until the Celts end up at #1. Then I shut it off.

you can not be too invested in a top 3 pick race. this was a fun season, not only for the celtics but for the the nets. and yes, two more years to go. ha, ha...it is amazing how fun this has been.

Perhaps the best thing about owning another team's first round pick - outside of actually being able to select a player with that pick or use the pick as a trade asset - is that it gives us another intriguing storyline to follow over the course of the season (assuming that the pick is not traded). 

It's no secret that we need the Brooklyn Nets to suck horribly this year, and ideally over the next three years.  This thread will be dedicated to the Nets' 2015-2016 season and will hopefully serve as the focal point for which all news regarding the Nets will be consolidated.  It will not be updated following every game they play; rather, it will focus on things of significance to the Nets team, such as injuries, trades, rookie performances, team/lineup chemistry issues, winning/losing streaks, etc.  I will do my best to update this thread with interesting news and tidbits that may affect the Nets team as a whole, (which obviously in turn may influence where our unprotected 2016 Nets 1st rounder lands), but input from others is greatly welcomed, particularly regarding player statistics and information about their salary cap situation as I am not fully proficient in either of these areas.

To any Nets fan who happens to come across this thread: I hope your team is as atrocious.  May your players' jumpshots fall short, your coaching strategies falter, your rookies struggle and fail to contribute this season and the next, and your team implode from poor chemistry and low morale.  I hope that even the hot dogs at Barclays Center taste bad.  It's nothing personal.  It's strictly business.

Amazing season.   I'm so pumped for this Summer.   Here's hoping we finally have some luck in the lotto.  1997, 2007 and 2014 were pretty disappointing - though technically we ended up with a future Finals MVP in 1997, traded for an all-star using our pick in 2007, and have one of our best young assets thanks to 2014. 

So ... yeah.   Awesome.

All that worrying and in the end the Nets ended up with a two game lead on the Suns. People just needed to have faith in Billy King's and the Nets ineptitude. I see two more top 5 picks coming our way over the next two years.

I just thinking about this a few hours ago. Would we see that kind of one sided trade ever again? Only other organization that might do something like that is the Kings. Never underestimate the desire to make the playoffs by a owner is the lesson.

This was way above my expectations at the start of the year. Way above my expectations from a few weeks ago! A nice birthday present from the Nets!  just a shame Atlanta couldn't have won and done the same!
