Magic number to guarantee at least a tie for 3rd worst is now 1, I believe.  2 to get 3rd worst outright.
Magic number of losses, right?

Nets TANKING Hard for Boston. Are they looking for something from us?

Brooklyn #! 2016 for Lopez and Young?

Who says no?

Me. We also have to match money.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Omri Casspi and Marco Belinelli are both out Monday night in Phoenix. Neither are likely to play again this season.

Nice. Will a Suns win against Sacramento lock the Nets into the 3rd seed?

This is getting better and better. Would be incredible if we lock up the 3rd seed!

If the Nets win tonight, then AT WORST they tie for the 3rd worst record! Big game tonight. Please Nets, don't ruin this for us!

And of course a Nets loss and a Suns win tonight clinches 3rd worst so we can all relax a bit until the playoffs... other than keeping tabs on the Mavs pick haha.

The only thing that could make this better would be if the Mavs dropped into the lottery :o!

Fixed that for you. Being a lottery pick is fine. We just don't want Dallas to place in the top three and then have to do this all over next year.

  • The shortest answer is doing the thing
"The Nets will win a bunch down the stretch," they said.
"Unlike other teams, the Nets have no reason to tank," they said.
"The Nets are playing so hard," they said.

I can't wait to do this again next year.

Wall and Beal out tonight for Washington. Bleh.

ESPN lists Robinson and RHJ out, but I didn't see mention of RHJ in the preview, only in the injury report:

The best part is, they really did play pretty hard, to the extent that they won a few games they should've lost (like banking in that buzzer 3 to beat Denver), and only lost one game they should've won that I can recall (at Golden State, ironically enough).

Hindsight is 20/20 and all but 21-23 wins was probably just about their ceiling for the year given how everything went down.

even with Wall and Beal out, i dont see the brooklyn team being a problem for Washington's bench.

Has a team with the worst lottery odds ever won the lottery?  Would be curious.
