I agree guys, this is looking more and more like it could potentially be a top 14 pick.  8)

The saddest part is that 2 of their wins came against us.
They'd be half a game ahead of the Lakers right now with a nice buffer between the bottom 3 and the others if we'd handled business.

Just unbelievable.

People have to get over it. Can't win them all. I'm sure the players wanted those wins more than you do.

I agree we can't win 'em all and that we should get over it.

I disagree that the players wanted those wins more than we all do. It really sucked and was bad luck for us that we played the Nets twice in two sets of home and home. It's real hard to beat a team two games in a row in the regular season.

We kicked their butts (embarrassed them) here in November. They wanted it far more 2 days later. The ramifications of their/our pick had no bearing on how our team played with NO sense of urgency. I'll guarantee you that our pick never crossed our players' minds.

When we played them again in January, we had just lost to the Fakers and were in the middle of a 1W-6L stint. Again, that first game on the 2nd, we played with no sense of urgency. Players aren't thinking about how important that pick is to the Cs organization. You and I are...all the time.

I never said they want to win because of the pick, they have a lot of reasons to want to play well and win. It has crossed their minds, they have been asked about it.

If they finish 30-2 or better they will probably make the playoffs

I hope that's the Celts record. :P

More Laker wins, BKN losses, Dallas losses (til 8th pick) and if Minny wins it can help all scenarios.

So now people can ease their minds about Minnys ability to win a game. When all is said and done they should be ahead of the Nets. The Suns are a legit worry, they look like they are going full on tank now

I woke up and saw Minny won and couldn't believe it- this is great!

Regarding the Nets, let's hope the bipolar Kings don't lay down for them tomorrow night (it's always a worry). If the Kings can win and the 76ers pull off a win against BKN on Saturday night (not gonna happen lol), then I will feel MUCH better about them finishing 3rd worst. But then again... even if they lose to the 76ers they will prob end up beating Golden State or the Spurs down the road to cancel it out haha

Minny is not a bad team, they are just very young and not so well coached, so I assume they will play hard to the end of the season...

Lakres are not that bad but they are tanking on purpose because of that pick...

Suns are scaring me, they are probably the weakest team in the whole league now... TJ Warren also out for the season...and after the deadline, they will be much worse...

From this perspective, top two worst teams are sixers and suns. After that we got lakers, and afater that comes the nets...this will br TOP 4 at the end of the season...aldo would love to se the lakers to win some games and get out of that bottom three (seeing them lose that pick would be wonderful), but I can't see that happening...

All in all very good day for an Celtics fan

How many of you feel bad about taking such joy in Net losses. I am starting to feel sorry for Lopez he is playing his heart out.

I feel bad for Brook Lopez.  Earlier this season, I felt bad for Lionel Hollins.

I don't feel bad for Billy King or Prokhorov.  Nor do I feel bad for their largely non-existent fans.

Brook was the one who put pen to the paper and signed his max contract this offseason. He knew exactly what he was signing up for in the offseason. Same goes for Young. They are getting paid to loose.

Kobe is going off against New Orleans. He's been much better lately. I wonder if he's enough to push them ahead of Brooklyn.
