Omg Harden is soooo freaking bad on defense. Couldn't even cover the leak out!

this game is showing people who haven't watched the nets this season what some have said about JJ. He may not be good anymore but in games they win he has hit some clutch buckets.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

To be fair, he also has Harden guarding him tonight, too . ;)

Nope the Rockets are a joke you can't take a close Nets win seriously. They aren't Philly/Lakers bad but a win here doesn't make me believe all is lost.

Nets wins always suck, but this speaks more to how atrocious the Rockets are.
Isaiah, you were lightning in a bottle.

Eh, lots of season left.  But Brooklyn will have 7 wins after tomorrow since they play Philly.  The bad news is they still have 4 games left against Philly for the season, which might as well be 4 wins, as bad as Brooklyn is.

On the plus side, although the Nets host Philly and Minnesota, the rest of their next ten or so games look quite losable.

I hate rockets, this game could lead to a little run for nets. How can you have all that talent and suck so bad? People here would LOVE to swap our team out for the rockets all for their top tier talent.

Minnesota, while inexperienced, is considerably better than Brooklyn. I also wouldn't assume that the Nets are going to beat the Sixers.

I really, really hope you are right. Got excited at the beginning of the year, so I'm a little more conservative now. And despite the fact that this Nets team looks horrendous on paper, they somehow seem to be able to pull it off. I know, with RHJ out and Lopez + JJ playing 39 minutes per night, it can't last. But they've definitely done better than I thought they would.

The only other plus I see this year is that the top of the draft is very strong at 3 and 5, at least as things stand now. I think we're still looking at a top-7 pick. Reasonable worst case scenario is that somebody is teaching Tommy how to pronounce "Poeltl."
