I just get the impression that "IF" we had drafted him things would've turned out different for him - JMO.
Yes, the pasta in the north end has magical healing powers.
lol, no - the "Pasta in the North" has Danny Ainge and Brad Stevens at the helm - the latter which ranked 4th for COY last season.
The latter, who stayed the course and got us to the playoffs despite Danny trading our best two players.
The former, who is building the franchise the RIGHT WAY, and has PLENTY of picks AND options left.
If I were Embiid, it would be hard for me to fail in BOS. Yes - he has some injury issues (allegedly), but things are starting to appear too shady for me in PHI.
And I don't mean slim shady, either.

"Shady" as in becoming a cesspool of fail - with no apparent improvement in sight for PHI. "Shady" as in half-truths leaking out to the media and other strange things with PHI right now.
You keep a losing environment long enough, and you'd be surprised at how things develop.
I just don't believe the book is closed on embiid just yet. But if it's PHI writing the story - it just may be.
