Alright, I'll be surprised if there is no deal in place on landing him in LaLa Land when I wake up tomorrow morning!

Are you trying to hope that he lands in Boston?  ;)

Yus!  ;)

Vlade Divac in a text when asked if the Kings are planning to trade DeMarcus Cousins: "Nope."

My guess

To Lakers: Cousins, Landry, 6th pick
To Sac: 2nd, 27th pick Randle, Clarkson, Young, Hill

Lakers select: Mudiay
Kings select: Okafor,  Jonathan Holmes

Lakers lineup
Cousins
?
?
Bryant
Mudiay

Kings lineup
Okafor
Randle
Gay
Mclemore
Clarkson

The Kings aren't giving up the sixth pick.

If the Kings don't absolutely love the offers they're getting for Cousins now, they should just wait a year.  There's three years left on his deal, and it only gets better as time goes on and the cap goes up.  No reason to rush this.
You’ll have to excuse my lengthiness—the reason I dread writing letters is because I am so apt to get to slinging wisdom & forget to let up. Thus much precious time is lost.

Yeah, Cousins has no power here.

I really don't think it's much of not loving the offers (maybe they don't, don't know really what's actually true of what's offered), but it'd be more a decision of wanting to keep Cousins or move away from him. I  don't think it's as much to do with getting a value they like in the offers they get.

But alas Karl is impatient and Cousins headache rap climbs exponentially every season..

Trading an All NBA center and the six pick would be some kind of hazing for the rookie gm...

Take it with a grain of salt but...

"League source familiar with Cousins' thinking: "DeMarcus wants to be a Laker. It’s up to the two sides to make a deal."

https://twitter.com/MarkG_Medina/status/613911026640105473

I'm sure DMC wants to be a Laker, but this is likely propaganda from someone who is exaggerating his interest in the Lakers to be anymore greater than equal what it is for New York or Boston.

This source is most likely either a Lakers executive or a Kings executive who is definitively on Karl's side, trying to speed up DMC's departure.

Oh, and I'd just like to say, how many times have we heard Celtics fans say that the Knicks would "never" trade Carmelo to a division rival vs. challenge the idea that the Kings would trade DMC to the division rival Lakers?

Uh oh.

*patiently waits for Boston to move up on a star's list*
Am I wrong in thinking that we have a pretty good situation here for a star to sign on? I just don't understand why the Celtics aren't that high up on the lists of some of these upcoming free agent stars.
Take me where the Boston Celtics fans roam free without judgment from my enemies.

Yea your wrong. Stars attract stars, we have no stars. We have no proven assets.

You didn't hear? LMA is eager to watch Kobe jack up 30 shots next year and submit to Kobe's demand of owning the locker room.
