It p---es me off that we've been collecting assets for a few years now waiting for this moment, yet the bumbling Lakers can just swoop in and get a top 10 player.

You're right. It makes you wonder whether that is the only way to successfully rebuild.

If Sacramento want to win now, and trade cousins to the Lakers in return for #2, Randle and Clarkson...then the Kings are even stupider then I thought.

And that's saying something, because I already thought they were the stupidest team in the history of professional sports.

This is going to be the Wiggins situation all over again.  Lakers will pretend like they are unwilling to move Randle.  Ultimately, they'll include Randle, Clarkson and #2 for Cousins and nobody will come close to matching that.   Then they'll just sign Rondo and Love and try to make it work.

There isn't freaking way the Kings can sell it to their fan base without Randle. Okafor straight up for Cousins?
