Lol Cavs fans are feeling bitter that the Bucks are getting decimated in their own house.

I await someone starting a thread suggesting that maybe the Bucks will now view Giannis as an undesirable thug and the Celtics can buy low in a trade.

I wasn't bothered by Perk's retaliation, and I don't blame Giannis, either.  The only thing is that he shouldn't be the guy to be delivering the message; if you're going to tackle Dunleavy, let a scrub do it.

How stupid do we think Thibs is? He has a guy coming off a major injury (rose), a guy that is battling injury (Noah), a guy that played the most minutes in the NBA (Butler). Will he actually let them get some rest with a 32 point lead at the half? I believe they will play Cleveland Monday? If he plays any of them past the 3rd (barring a major charge by Bucks without Giannis) he is very very dumb.

Isn't that how everything fell apart for Chicago in the first place?  When Rose injured himself the first time in 2012, it was during garbage time.  Doug Collins had already pulled his starters, iirc, so why was Rose still out there?  Thibs just seems to run players into the ground like KC Jones.  What a moron.

I dont blame him for playing them to start the second half, but I would pull the guys now and not put them in. They are up over 40 and it has been a chippy series. We have already seen a cheap shot that could have injured Dunleavy, plus running of the score could lead to something ugly. Get those guys out of there I want to see a full strength matchup versus the cavs...

I missed it - what happened?  Giannis doesn't seem like the thug type to me, so I'm going to attribute this to the influences of Jason Kidd and Lady Zaza, lol ;D.

Giannis did this;

For what can only be retaliation for Dunleavy getting MCW in the throat;

Still monumentally stupid when your team is facing elimination.

TP for the clips.  Wow, talk about bully ball from Dunleavy, and I hate that term, even though Man Crush Wednesday has showed himself to be a total prick/punk.  How was that not a foul?  He practically threw him down.  I honestly didn't even think Giannis' play was that bad, tbh.  Sure, he came over and got him, but he didn't clothesline Dunleavy or anything.  I agree, though - dumb move.

Actually, it was in retaliation for this on the previous possession:

I think that's just who Thibs is anymore, for better or for worse. Even his players joke about it, and I think it's one of the reasons why he'll more than likely be fired this year according to most basketball sources. I think I remember reading that his hardcore, no-rest style (along with other stuff) does not sit well with management and ownership.

His was more dangerous than Perk's hard screen, because Dunleavy was in the air. I almost think Giannis' was more like JR's cheap shot, because both of them could have really hurt the other guy. Perk's was really just a hard, shoulder-in screen.

Thibs probably needs to get Dunleavy out of there. He's going to end up with a target on his back the rest of this game like Crowder did in our series.

TP for the Vine.  Such actions hardly surprise me, though, as the Bulls have always been a dirty team, dating back to that 2009 series with Hinrich, Noah, Brad Miller, and Rose all acting like punks.  At least, imo, anyway.

Nah, JR's cheap shot seemingly came out of nowhere, while at least Giannis was understandably upset over two separate plays.  I don't even think that he could have hurt Dunleavy on that play, honestly, but Perk's was dirty all the way, imo.  God do I hate that guy, lol. ;D

I also have no problem with what either Perk or Giannis did, but Perk's was wayyyy cleaner than Antetokoumnpo's.

On the other hand, Dunleavy has hit someone in the face at least 3 times this game, so Antetokoumnpo's was probably more warranted (despite being worse).

Neither was a true and honest basketball play, but I'd rather see either of those than an actual basketball foul that occurs when a guy is full speed jumping in the air as payback.

Gotta give both guys respect for dishing payback while making sure not to hurt the player.  Perk especially though for keeping the foul on the floor.

And pushing a guy while setting a screen is at least much closer to a basketball play than hockey checking someone shooting a 3.

Both plays were cleaner than soap though compared to some of the stuff Wade has pulled in recent years.

JR's shot was way different/worse than the Perk or Giannis plays (furthest thing possible from a "basketball play"), but I still wouldn't say it was any where near as "dirty" or injury-seeking as the ones by Wade.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale
