It wasn't pretty at times but this was an impressive win by the Clippers. They're the more talented team but the old Spurs won't go away.

Wow, that's pathetic, San Antonio.  Now they're going to go from wiping the floor with Lebron to losing in the first round, lol ;D.  Like I've said a million times before, Duncan and Ginobili should have just retired after last year.  I wouldn't be surprised to see them play a great game 7, but I seriously doubt that they'll win it.  Meh, who cares, I hate both teams, anyway, lol ;D.  I just expected more from the Spurs, but they look cooked.
The Clippers and Spurs are probably the third and fourth best teams in the league. No shame if either team loses in this series.

I suppose you're right, but it's still the defending champs in a closeout game on their court.  I figured that it would be tight, but I also thought that San Antonio's superior depth would carry them in this one, and it almost did, especially with Paul not scoring in the first half, lol ;D.  What a wasted opportunity.  They blew this series by losing game 4, imo.

You could say the same thing about the Clippers. They blew Game 2. It's a close series and doesn't deserve to be in the first round.

True, but the Clippers have seemingly made a habit of making the wrong plays at the wrong times, like when Blake tries to dribble too much, which probably cost them game 2.  The west is loaded, though.  Would you have preferred this matchup in the wcf, or would you rather have seen the Warriors vs. the Spurs in this hypothetical scenario?  Just wondering.

Man, has Mayweather always been this slow in his language and responses? It looks like the years of being hit in the head repeatedly have slowed down his cognitive processing abilities a bit.

I would have rather seen a series of this magnitude in the 2nd round. Winner of this series plays the Warriors in the WCF IMO.

I'm pretty sure the 2nd seeded Rockets might have something to say about that. I mean, Houston had Dwight for only ~45 games and still finished with a better record than both the Clips and Spurs.

With a fully healthy and dominating Howard for the playoffs, and home court advantage, I fully expect the Rockets to beat either team in 6 games or less. Houston clearly has the best superstar duo among these three teams and probably the best bench too.

They actually have the exact same record as the Clippers (who had Blake miss time as well) and only a game better then the Spurs and Grizzlies.

The four teams are as close as you can probably get 4 teams in the NBA.

Dwight might finally be serious .

He smiled the least I ever seen him

He also,  is playing nearly as good as his early years .

When he is trying , and playing all out ,  it's fun watching Howard work in the paint.

Rockets just needed a Point guard ,  Jet sucks .

The rockets continue to play the least appealing version of basketball ever.

Sadly it's the way it's going to be played more and more in the future.  Draw fouls, shoot threes.  The end.

That makes the historically inaccurate assumption that the rules of the game aren't changed to facilitate other styles of play.

Check this out.
