How many games will Marcus Smart be suspended for?

This is a legitimate questionable contact case. He was fighting over screens and there was a bunch of contact. In my mind, it's 50/50. It could have been purposeful or it could have been accidental. I don't know.

There's nothing accidental about grabbing a jersey and hip-tossing a guy across your leg.

Smart was rough and a bit reckless tonight, but he didn't "Ronda Rousey" anybody out there.

Payton ...didn't complain at all or even look hurt , said nothing after the game ....just it was good hard basketball. 

It would have been worth five game s ...if he had done this to D Wade ......I would have applauded him ,  given Marcus a pat on the back if I was coach for a hit on Wade ....

we watched KG do stuff like this for what? 4 years?  Yet some of us are acting like this behavior is above the boston celtics.  I'm not condoning this by any stretch but whats the difference??  Smart puts up 20 and 10 and we wont care anymore?

both incidents where smart gets ejected this year, I can show you a video clip of KG doing the exact same thing, and some incidents where its even more egregious with KG picking on other players.

we watched KG do stuff like this for what? 4 years?  Yet some of us are acting like this behavior is above the boston celtics.  I'm not condoning this by any stretch but whats the difference??  Smart puts up 20 and 10 and we wont care anymore?

I think a punch should get a harsher punishment than a slap.

I'm going to give Marcus the benefit of the doubt and buy his explanation.  He was fighting to free himself from the screen and his arm accidentally came up right into Matt Bonner's groin.

I mean, hadn't Matt Bonner just checked into the game?  There was no build up.  No reason for Marcus to throw a cheap shot.

Yeah, I'm a homer, but I'm buying the accident thing.

DA was always fighting ......especially when he was on the Suns.

My Dad .....worlds greatest Celtics fan ......used to say Kareem was as savage , hateful , temperamental  ,  and dirty as they come .    Nice guy off the court , but ruthless in a game.

Pretty much all the best players were hot heads ......Bird and. Jordan       Were no saints .

The intentional hit on Bonner was old school ruff NBA ball .   ......how is that worse than d Wade standing over IT .....looking down at him like road kill ......I though he was going to beat his chest ....for glory of the kill .....while IT laid there dying....did Wade seem worried he might have ruined his career .....nope ..

Smarts hit was ruff...maybe dirty .....but it wasn' t the career ending stuff D Wade is allowed to get away with time and time again.

I have not seen what CBS is saying about this and would welcome quotes. If what you say is true, then my respect for CBS went up even further.
