Good court awareness and passing.Wake me up when he leads the league in assists for multiple years and leads pgs in rebs. And gets lot of triple doubles. And makes one all nba defensive teammove on!Cant. We have a good player and instead of surrounding him with better players (in which we can), we gave him away. Until we get a replacement for him (not necessarily in position but in star power), it'll be hard to move on.1. I don't see how people can so blithely overlook the obvious half-assing Rondo did for the last few years in Boston.2. What magic wand should Ainge have waived to get these "good players"?Mike1.) Point taken. But if we are in a winning situation, maybe he wont half ass his way around?2.) We had a shot at getting Omer Asik last year by adding some picks. He could atleast give us a defensive boost. If we were close in getting a legitimate Center with our assets, why do you think it's so impossible to other solid players?

Quote from: eja117 on January 02, 2015, 09:45:48 PMWhere on Earth was Marcus Smart in this game? I thought he was a good defender. Is this what we can expect now. The opposing pg (who can't shoot apparently) go for like 29 and 18 point losses at home?I really hope you're trolling, because otherwise you're just a moron. How often was Smart even on him when he scored or at all? Rondo started; Smart did not start. It's comical watching you try to reason lol

Funny game by Rondo tonight. I'm pretty glad we don't have to deal with his bipolar disorder anymore. I'll be shocked if he continues to shoot 38% from three for the rest of his time in Dallas. I predicted a honeymoon period... we're in the thick of it.
Quote from: jpotter33 on January 02, 2015, 09:47:05 PMStevens didn't show much emotion towards Rondo there after the game. Granted, he hardly shows any emotion.neither of them do. Stevens didnt have to go up and shake his hand and he did, i think thats what needs to be taken away from that exchange

But yeah, he wouldn't help this rebuilding team either. He's not even in the top 5 PG discussions this season.

He was a half-hearted player, so its fitting they gave him a half-hearted ovation.

Jessica Camerato @JCameratoNBA ยท 2h 2 hours agoRondo just got one of the loudest ovations I've heard here for a former #Celtics.
Dwain Price ?@DwainPrice 7m7 minutes agoRondo gets a huge ovation when he leaves. He finishes with a season-high 29 pts, 6 reb and 5 assists. He made 12-of-19 shots, and 5-of-7 3s.

Devin Harris outscored him too.
Yep, Rondo certainly looks like he is recovering from ACL injury and he gave all he could while he was in the Celtics this season. What a dog.
