Smart is looking really good right now. Good court awareness and passing.
Wake me up when he leads the league in assists for multiple years and leads pgs in rebs. And gets lot of triple doubles. And makes one all nba defensive team
move on!

Cant. We have a good player and instead of surrounding him with better players (in which we can), we gave him away.

Until we get a replacement for him (not necessarily in position but in star power), it'll be hard to move on.

1.  I don't see how people can so blithely overlook the obvious half-assing Rondo did for the last few years in Boston.

2.  What magic wand should Ainge have waived to get these "good players"?

Hope Dallas plays Washington in the finals  :)

That would be like Scottie Pippen vs Phil Jackson.

if we only got a couple pieces to surround him.

Smart is the future. And Danny went and surrounded him with a few good pieces from Dallas. :'(
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.

To mediocrity? Never.
suit yourself keep smelling that rondo jock strap
Maybe we can have a little party. I'll smell his jock strap. You guys can keep licking Marcus Smart's underwear. We can try to exchange recipes and talk about how the team was sooooooo close to beating the Nets the other day on the strength of Smart's two steals and 45% shooting for like 9, 4, and 6.

They're just as bad as the illogical Rondo-haters. He can do no wrong in their eyes. It's just ridiculous trying to argue with them.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Put Chris Paul on this team and see how many wins you get.
