Zeller and Green is the only two worth watching tonight. I think everyone else has seen the writing on the wall here for this season, even the coaching staff.

Outside of the two, no one is actually even trying. I feel worse than a Sixers fan. I feel like atleast those Philly bunch are giving it all and that coach is trying to win.

Smart is playing hard. It's always fun watching him play D. His offense, ehhh lol

I don't understand this. We looked so strong against the T-Wolves and the flailing Kings!! ???

Friendly reminder...

Mavs were 19-8 before the trade

Boston was  9-14 before the trade.

It shouldn't be a major shocker that the mavs are 5-2 since the trade...

It shouldn't be a major shocker that Boston is 2-5 since the trade.

Context, people.   Nobody should have expected Boston to win tonight.  When fans like myself suggest Dallas "didn't get much better", it doesn't mean we expect them to stink.  They are still a good team.  They were a good team before the move happened.

Smart is looking really good right now. Good court awareness and passing.

He's the only reason to watch.

Rajon is really sticking it into Danny isnt he?

Would've been nice if he could've done this for us.... Naw, slacking on D and only deciding to play once every couple of games was good enough for him.
He did play this way for us. A lot. Ask D Wade and D Rose and Lebron and Kobe

Well, I can't excuse the lack of extra effort when we are a losing team, but when it mattered, he did play like this if not close.

Yeah, I feel like he hasnt been National TV Rondo with us this season, but I certainly disagree that he was slacking off. You cant average double digit assists by slacking off, could have been better if he stepped on that extra gear, but I believe that being dangled in the trade rumors kind of got him disinterested.

I agree, I said that on another post.....LOL..some got ruffled over it....LOL...even at half speed, if it was...he played better and harder, and more effective than most...

Haha good one. I'm seriously wanting to know what Rondo you guys were watching that you think he played harder than most.

The guy who led the league in assists at the time he was here and led all guards in rebounds.

Oh, you must mean the guy who consistently let his guy drive past him, didn't fight through screens, and didn't give a crap about D in Boston. That guy?  ;)

He wasn't playing like this when he was here. Not since 2012 playoffs anyways.

Uhm, gee wiz Mr Rondo, you are only getting triple doubles all the time....don't you think you could do MORE....and then more, and then more.....even though we don't ask hardly anything from anyone else yet we call it STANDARDS.....it means only what we want it to when we say so.....LOL...

Those triple doubles are so empty. And, yes, we could ask him to do plenty more: 1) lead his team, 2) hit a [dang] free throw, 3) score more than a third string point guard at 7 points a game, 4) AND I CAN'T STRESS THIS ONE ENOUGH, GIVE CONSISTENT EFFORT EVERY NIGHT. Is that so much to ask from what you guys want to consider a superstar player?
If he did alllll that instead of just leading the league in assists and rebs for a pg he'd....oh...wait.  Well instead of being a borderline all star he'd be a super all star and demand a max contract and instead of getting everyone's precious Marcus Smart in the draft we would get Noah Vonleh or Doug McDermott.
Maybe let a guy coming off knee surgery pace himself in meaningless seasons.

i remember the word incredible being thrown around a lot after that Twolves game.

Nobody pounding the ball and running down the shot clock. Everyone sharing the ball and playing as a team. Much improved defensively with that sieve removed.

We are a lot easier to watch with that Marcus Smart guy playing.

Stevens, be a man. Start this lineup tomorrow.
Once you are labeled 'the best' you want to stay up there, and you can't do it by loafing around.
